Our daughter Elizabeth started her dance journey under Ms Naomi's engaging and caring guidance since 3 years ago. She has since gained interest and greater confidence in expressing herself through dance. Naomi's warmth and supportive demeanour makes learning a fun experience. She is always responsive, polite and comprehensive in her communications with the parents. She is well organised and resourceful. She is very kid-centric and makes the necessary arrangements for the safety and well being of the children. She proactively sources for various learning experience for the kids to increase their interest in dance such as organising trips to dance performances at Esplanade and introduction to ballet by the SDT. When my husband and I were looking for a dance program for our girls, aged 5 and 7, we wanted a focused and dedicated teacher who give the children space to explore and experience the joy of dancing as an expression rather than being 'exam-centric'. Now after over a year with teacher Naomi, I am glad to say she is everything we had hoped for. Naomi has a new studio at North Canal Road that is easily assessible for parents who drive as there are ample parkings along the nearby roads. Naomi is strong in communicating with older children as she is with the younger ones. My youngest being only in K1 and she throughly enjoys the lessons. Naomi did not overtly emphasize the technical aspects rather she used playful music to attract the children's attention and the dances are beautifully choreographed and rhythmic. We highly recommend Naomi and Lighthouse!

My girl has been learning from Teacher Naomi since the start of her dance journey 3 years back and she loved every minute of it. Naomi is highly professional and clear in her communication with the parents. She shown a great flair in connecting with the kiddos but at the same time is always able to get the best out of them. My daughter developed an interest in dancing when she was only 2 years old and we decided to enroll her in a dance class. We attended few ballet classes with different teachers and she prefers to be taught by Miss Naomi. I was quite surprised hearing her decision from such a young age. But I must say, I agree with her judgement and decision! She feels very encouraged and comfortable in Miss Naomi’s classes. Miss Naomi has always been really professional when it comes to handling and teaching the kids. She’s very patient with them and most importantly stirring interest among them further developing their interest and passion for dancing. She’s very talented and we can see how much effort she invest in planning and coming up with ideas on how to bring out the best in the kids (Example, challenging the students in a self-choreographed dance competition. It was so much fun!) As a parent, I feel very at ease and trust Miss Naomi in nuturing my daughter. She focuses on improving my daughter’s dance skills in a fun and positive way! I’m always amazed and impressed by her thoughtfulness and talent. I strongly recommend Lighthouse Dance School to any parent who is looking to send their child for dance class.
