Yes, the 2 old ladies and the man in the shop are impatient, rude and in general not pleasant people. I made the mistake of buying 2 sets of lights from them yesterday. I checked both set of lights worked. However, when i came back, i realised that when the taller lady went to the back to get the 2nd set, she had gotten the cheaper one without the controller but i had paid for 2 sets of lights with the more expensive controller. Oh well, just my luck not to check carefully. The taller lady really does not know where things are and keeps asking the shorter lady... never going back... the bad grouchy service just not worth it...

I went to this shop to buy Christmas tree. Terrible service. Its a Christmas season. Its beautiful and nice. The least anyone in this shop can do is to just let us know the prices of the item. I believe the old auntie was very irritated becos we went over to the opp shop to take a look there. Who doesn't? When there are two shops to compare, customers will definitely keep comparing. I asked her for the price. I had asked her once before about 30 mins before. Now when I asked her, she just slammed her basket. So I asked her if its 100 dollars and she got more angry. She said earlier also another Indian couple also came ard and bought a smaller tree and that itself was 78. N she told she is only a cashier and she doesn't know the price etc. I mean why? Why the Indian thing needs to come out? All I wanted to know was the price of the tree. Why can't ppl be nice. The other lady in the ship earlier was shouting becos I wanted to see how to connect the tree. She didn't have to shout, she could have just said it properly. Only the man in the shop was nice. Very bad service. Not going there anymore. I go there every year. N customer service is always bad.

Very rude. The auntie was extremely rude and we ended up not buying anything at all. Henry’s on the other hand was great. Highly recommend Henry’s but not this shop.

Contrary to the opinions posted by many on here, I had an absolutely friendly service from the 3 elderly staff. They were about to close for the day and I had just ran across from Henry Wholesale where I had a pretty disappointing experience. (They barely had any decos I was expecting, mostly trees and prices were more expensive than I expected and they had a scheme to give you 50% discount yet I suspect the prices were already jacked up). I came in with a big smile and a laughter at seeing so many twinkling things that caught my eyes. Uncle was very helpful in giving recommendations and helping me find what I was looking for. The other aunties too helped me get what I wanted. We were all laughing together and making jokes. They closed up layer than they should just to accommodate us and another couple. I believe you get good service when you give the request with a big smile and a positive aura.

Buyer beware. Bought 340 dollars worth of Christmas lights. Wanted battery operated but given ac powered. Asked for a change less than 12h after purchase. Rudely dismissed by elderly sales lady as it is my own fault for not checking. Declined refund. Being environmentally conscious about having 20 boxes of lights unused at home, left the working lights there for resale. Wrote off the entire 340 dollars. Do your homework well before purchase. Zero customer service.

Small shop with very nice and friendly staff (uncle & aunty). Was with my young kids to choose a tree and deco and the staff were very nice in recommendations. Was supposed to go to Henry Wholesale right opposite but glad i had a very good experience at this shop.

Worst Christmas experience in my entire lifetime. The two auntie's worked together to con my partner and I. Sold us a tiny 3ft christmas tree for $69 which we found out later was only $18 opposite side at Henry Christmas. The people at Henry's were shocked and told us to walk back over for a refund. When we went back which was only 5 mins after buying the tree, the entire shop was closed and locked, all their displays brought inside within minutes of us leaving. Even from the loading bay side. We were shocked and stood there like idiots. These con artists at Lim Hock Swee have a system where they just conned us and closed up. We were so upset and shocked. Such a pity that these people exist and would do such a thing during this time of the year!

My honest review, was initially served by a shorter auntie who was nice and accommodating. Whilst walking around, the other auntie was extremely and rude. When I was already considering which tree to get, and was trying on some decors on the tree (and putting them back subsequently), the rude auntie told us off and said not to mess up her stuff and she has no time to put them back. Totally unreasonable, considering that I was putting the decors back in place and the trees are all in the hundreds, not a small sum. Frustrating, didn't even consider buying thereafter. Ended up walking over to Henry Christmas, which the staff was all so much more accommodating, ended up buying from there instead.
