This place took my money but never sent any matches that met the criteria I gave them. How could a company accepts thousands of dollars and provide no service? They kept refusing to pay me money. They said the only way I could get money back was if I brought them to court. How could a could a company treat someone like that? I also didn’t understand why they had so many positive reviews. Eventually, I found a former employee of Lovestruck on LinkedIn and they told me that Lovestruck pays people to write positive reviews because their reputation is so bad. Most of the positive reviews on TrustPilot in particular are fake. Stay away!

I have met a lady who makes a good friend whom I’m now having WhatsApp messaging. Jenny did a good job of introducing several dates for me to pick. But it depends on individuals with different requirements on date appointments. Important is picking a right friend first.

Despite difficulty in meeting the right person, the matchmaker made a prompt effort in the search and was always there to help with your enquiry. There was a lot of anxiety during the search process not knowing if the right person is here. In the end, we managed to find 1 compatible match.

My experience with the consultant is a rather negative one. Their office is a shared office space that is rather small and cosy. Once in the room, I was asked to fill up a long questionnaire with my details and particulars. Thereafter, I was asked to introduce myself. Not sure how my introduction went as I only briefly mentioned a bit and was cut off by the consultant on their long history of matchmaking, with offices in the UK, Thailand, Hong Kong, and listed on ASX (Aussie Stock Exchange) - I am not too sure why I need to know this... Thereafter, the 'interview' proceeded with a comparison of online dating vs lovestruck's dating procedure, of which I feel it's just tinder/CMB/Bumble with extra steps. (They help to create our profiles and let us swipe right or swipe left - then the communicate that to us) Not too sure if the consultants themselves have tried the dating apps, but apparently their takeaway of online dating is a lack of filtering effectiveness and the 'trouble' of communicating online without meeting first (somehow it makes a difference if we only speak to each other on the actual not-so-blind date). Lastly, the prices are... Wheeeweewww. Not too sure if its dating or I see my one month take home pay on the charts, no matter which 'package' I take. Somehow they have the idea that Lovestruck is offering a very good deal, the best deal out of all other competitors (No they aren't, a few other SG dating agencies are a lot more cost-savvy and deliver more - even planning dates and such). Then I was offered a 'pay-by-date' package, and after another rejection from me, it was a 50% deposit upfront, 50% after. (Starting to feel like they're more desperate for money than I am for my relationship...) The lack of a concrete sales pitch and customer relations is really a turn off, and I believe the company needs to review their pricing policies and really look at the dating industry. To the dear consultant, apologies for the rejection - also, given the very small room and cosy sofa across from each other, I don't think a bodycon mini dress is a good wardrobe choice as much as it is a wardrobe malfunction... Great view that was straight up in my face, thanks but no thanks.

When I first meet with the love struck they sound very promising then make you pay $3K++. However they don’t really show any care after the payment is made. They promise 2 profile a week but only give 2 in a month. The 2 profile are not within my profile request. They try to push me to person whom wants his partner to become vegetarian (as mention their profile) which I don’t wish plus the age limit was way ahead of my preference but they still be pushy. No respect for personal space. When there is match I am Interest and inform them they don’t reply any outcome. Their app itself very laggy and if reply the matchmaker will take days to reply or sometimes no reply. Honestly I believe my matchmaker work only 2 time a month. Maybe I should join love stuck as employee so I don’t have work a lot.

Overall I would say the service is of good value as it filters any fake profiles and prevent any scams. The match maker is very responsive and attentive to our requests. Have been on two dates and both dates were enjoyable. Recommend for those that would like to seek for serious relationships.

The meetup was very well arranged. Understand that matchmaking is not an easy task and that the matchmakers are trying their best. Thank you. However, the app has room for improvement. Please upgrade the app features so that members can communicate better.
