Beautiful place to rest,. easy to reach by public transportation, we can jogging in the afternoon the sunset is very beautiful from this place

Nice public area. They have a small free public carpark opposite the HDB blocks (Blk 817), so it's nice to come here during the weekends to take in some fresh air.

Wonderful Place to stroll jih run cycle there especially in the morning

Do take note if you are driving, very limited parking lots. At most 20 lots available. If you are able to get a parking lot, you will be rewarded with stunning reservoir views!

Beautiful tranquil place to relax or a scenic run to Springleaf park connector. Nice time is evening to catch the sunset colors

First time here in the morning around 9am on a weekday. Although free parking, it has limited parking lots.(About 15 to 20). Interestingly, this reservior is connected all the way to Yishun Dam on one side and connected by river to Spring Leaf on the other side. Unique reservoir with lots of fresh water weed inside. That explains why you can see a few modified floating bull dozer with wire mesh bucket collecting fresh water weed out of the reservoir. Weed were collected and placed on a few floating pontoons within the reservoir. Also saw a 2 meter long monitor lizard swimming in the reservoir(near Orchid country club. Occasionally lifting its head above the water with long tongue sticking in and out of its mouth. Only its head and tail can be seen exposing from water. Talked to a men about the sight of the reptile. He seems not surprise. So, i think it may be a common sight at this place. Understand there are water sports such as canoeing and Kayaking that is available here during weekends.
