Review: Hidden in a corner of a mature estate, this (May I call it) boutique cake shop offers a good selection of cakes, cookies and goodies that is worth to have a cheat day for the diabetics. The carrot cake is moist, and accompanied with a healthy layer of cream cheese icing. I would recommend to have it with a cup of Earl Grey. The hint of the bergamot in the Earl Grey tea balances the sweetness of the icing and enhances the carrot cake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought 2 carrots and chocolate cakes for my husband birthday. I prefer carrots cake. Taste nice and not too sweet. For chocolate cake, it's rich and firm but easy to fall apart after I cut it.

She ran me through all the cake flavors and made sure I had the right amount of cake for certain amount of guests. The cake was amazing so was the Cake decor! Thank You so much for aptly replying and following up! Thank You for making my nephew's first birthday a success! ?

She continually experiments to create new flavours for her customers (tiramisu, banana chocolate, ondeh ondeh rolls). There are cupcakes and cake slices for over the counter sale, but in limited quantity to ensure freshness. She also sells cake scraps by the box which are a tasty and affordable treat for people who love a daily helping of cake with a hot cuppa tea : )..
Lynda always chats to all her customers and she makes the effort to remember their preferences. Do support this local crafts(wo)man.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally had the chance to try their famous carrot cake. Indeed it's the best we have ever had. Carrot cake had a good amount of spice and was topped with rich cheese. Overall not so sweet. Simply excellent!
