β β β β β Read reviews and saw some people mention being unethically charged more for random treatment / oils. Decided to give them a chance since was nearby and had a twisted back. Verdict is yes they are unethical do NOT go unless you are willing to pay almost double the advertised rate.
I went for a tuina and I repeatedly confirmed the rate of $70 at the counter. The tuina itself was abit below average (but nothing to complain about). At one point during the tuina I felt copious amounts of oil being used on my back. And then some ointment was used. And then cupping was done. And heat lamp was used (yes they charge extra separately for heat lamp). Only at the end did I realise that I was being charged extra for all these, and I was not asked if I had wanted them. Total bill went from supposedly $70 to $110.
