★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A shaded boardwalk with beautiful views of lush tropical forest and waters of the reservoir. The trial is very well maintained and suitable for both old folks and children. People are strolling along, while some are having a jog. If we observe carefully, sightings of monkey, tortoise, squirrel, birds, and even wild boars are possible. It is a good trail to spend for an hour so strolling in nature. The Prunus Trail leads to Petai Trail after 1km plus from entrance of the trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place if you have interest in nature....cool calm location and if you have enough time you can walk around the shore of the reservoir. Many fitness enthusiasts are finding their way to MacRitchie reservoir both mornings and evenings. Try to fall in love with beauty of nature

Seem a little crowded at 9.30 am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An enjoyable 3 km hike! ? Eventhough the sun was blistering, the shade along the trail was plentiful and the sun peeking through the branches was great for taking photos!
We saw lots of wildlife like: The monitor lizard, terrapins, macaques (and baby macaques ?) up close and personal as we walked right past them.
The trail (boardwalk) along the reservoir was very scenic but the trail through the forest was more dirt and grit and u have a few inclines as well. So it's great for both exercise and leisure!

This is actually a fantastic view of the lake and marks the start of the prunus trail that goes all the way around the reservoir. It’s around 4-5km to tree top walk, and the entire loop round will be around 10km.
Fantastic views of the weather is good such as today

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 25 May 2022: Amazing beauty of nature, scenic and bring peace to the mind. Started the morning walk from MacRitchie Reservoir Park…spotted a sting ray near to the entrance of Prunus Trail. Took a slow walk on the boardwalk, enjoy the lush green, listen to birds chirping and before you know it; Petai Trail is just ahead of you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely, scenic trail for starters as well as experienced walkers. Amidst the lap of nature, this trail has many detours to discover and enjoy. Not very conducive for night walks unless you're very experienced with them.
