★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mar 2019. Nice canoeing and kayaking location. Was here for a National canoeing event.
Always crowded with paddlists, cheering teams and parents. In such events, other park users or passer bys really had to watch out for the canoeing hunks carrying canoes over their shoulders.
Beautiful day for a sporting event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the area in which you are supposed to kayak is not a whopping lot but for ameturs and recreational purpose it's quite decent. The stuff were helpful,the place is quite serene and nice. Just make sure to reach there before 4.15 because by 4.30 they stop renting kayaks . Happy Kayaking !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just talked to a young lady at the Paddle lodge this morning to have some information about the kayak rental. She didn’t bother to look up at me from her mobile phone at first. If I understood her well, public rental can only use the green zone which was grassy and foamy from what I could see. It doesn’t seem worth it to come here for kayaking though I enjoy so much of the serenity @ Macrichie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Requires 72hrs advance bookings. Mainly due to large group paddlers from Hwa Chong, Raffles Institute, SJI just to name a few.
Last minute call in to check on schedule not adviced, unless you wanna listen to unfriendly reminders.
Walk-in not encouraged, unless you wanna casual chat with the friendly staff.
Overall, it's a 'private lodge' that is 'privately run'.

Kayak in reservoir water !
Walk the trail along Petir.
The park is open for all walks of life, leisure, sports, run, and yoga.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boat rental $15 an hour. Same price for single and double seated kayak. Required to book 3 days in advance. Friendly staff to guide even for first timer.
1 hour is just nice otherwise arms will be too sore.
