โ โ โ โ โ Their set lunch is incredible. For $8.90 you get soup of the day, main course, ice water, fruit punch and tea or coffee. Super worth it! The food was awesome too!

โ โ โ โ โ I liked the ambience, light music with lighting thatโs not too bright. Vegetarian food is authentic and delicious. Perfect for a get together with friends and family

โ โ โ โ โ Revisit: Different restaurant and vibe now. Dare I say slightly "hipster"?
There's chicken rice and nasi lemak, and laska now. You can have a draft beer in the afternoon and sit in Aircon. Friendly staff makes it a win still. At a slightly higher price point.
Previous review: Good food. $9.90 for lunch buffet and $11.90 for dinner buffet. Cash and NETs only.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice and modern look.
We visited this place for dinner and it was quite modern, the renovations made it a completely different restaurant. It looks much more cleaner and professional now.
They changed our plates after every course and hygiene was maintained. The food tasted good as well. Though they have limited options the quality of their items is pretty outstanding. I really enjoyed the traditional ghee dosa and samosa chat. They have western as well as Indo Chinese cuisine. The beet balls was crispy balls made out of beetroot.
However, the tandoori roti was thick and could have been rolled into thinner sheets. The bindi masala was incredibly delicious.
Overall, a good place to dine

โ โ โ โ โ Terrible service. Ordered dosai n Madras thali. They served everyone and delayed our food for 20 mins. Had to follow up with the waiters here. Nobody apologised.
20 mins later we received our thali but no dosai. How hard is it to make a dosai? Apparently, it's a challenge for them. Will not recommend. Had to cancel my order

โ โ โ โ โ Visited on a Thursday afternoon & it was fairly crowded! The next visit I might make a reservation beforehand just in case! Nevertheless, the staff (thankfully) had a table for us & welcomed us warmly.
We were served welcome drinks & the menu. They have a $8.90 set meal (limited mains to pick from) with soup & tea/coffee which is value for money!
Today, I tried the chicken rice, char kway teow, Ganga thali & aloo gobi.
The chicken rice was good, I wished the โchickenโ was baked/grilled if possible as it was slightly greasy, but the rice & chilli is on point. Brownie points for having black sauce too which is hard to find in veg chicken rice!
The kway teow is nice & just the right amount of sweetness, adjust your spice level accordingly by informing the waiter when they take your order!
The thali & aloo gobi fared well as well.
The waiting time was 15-20 minutes, I would suggest for diners to be patient if possible as the restaurant is serving many guests as well.
I love the ambience here! The staff are very warm & friendly and trying to give their best service. The menu is concise but has enough variety for anyone in the family. There are alcoholic drinks too if they are more to your liking!
I guess the restaurant has some teething issues in some new areas of their business (fusion food & opening for lunch hours) in addition to their Upp Dickson Branch.
Do render your support and I ask of you to be understanding towards the team who are trying their very best to serve you a new concept of vegetarian food.
To Team Madras Woodlands Ganga: Great job to you & your team! Will be back again! ??
P.S. They donโt serve buffets anymore so take note

โ โ โ โ โ Affordable, nice dining environment for small group and family. The food was good, they serve both north and south Indian dishes including local dish and chat items. Services staff was very cordial, suggested list of dishes for us to choose from and gave us a welcome drink.

โ โ โ โ โ The rating is only for the quality of service. Food quality is very bad. The Gobi manchurian and side dishes for dosa were ok. But dal, gulab jamun and roti were way below the minimum quality. I went there by seeing the review, but food was pathetic. No value for money. However i say the staff were very friendly and polite.
