β β β β β Very affordable, char siew and drink very nice! Located in Beng Cheng monastery, had to turn round because I overshot it. There is no signage, it is through a small entrance. Would come again. Cash only.

β β β β β First time here but am impressed by the quality and taste of the food. Very affordable price too. Was recommended the double roast rice set and it didn't disappoint. The char siew has the right burnt taste and good texture. But I was wowed by the thunder tea rice. Very rich and distinct taste. Best thunder rice I have ever eaten. The suckling pig was good too, better than what I had in bigger restaurant like Miao Yi. Great place to come if u are in Geylang area.

β β β β β Iβm so glad Maitree Cafe has reopened. Have been waiting for 2 years as they closed aft COVID hit. This is simple yet scrumptious food cooked with lots of heart, like a delicious home-cooked meal prepared for friends. Food is tasty and not too heavy, and I always leave feeling satisfied.
