Good Peranakan food at a reasonable price. Very casual setting.

Nice Nyonya Kuehs. Have not had a chance to try their food but it is certainly very popular.

Comfort food! I especially love the nonya ayam pongteh cos the chicken is simmered juicy and tender in this braised sauce, and the sauce tastes really good! Plus they give you several big chunks of chicken, plus potatoes, plus some veggies! Goes great with the separate rice + veggies order. The kueh pie tie is really great too! Crispy shells.

Food was good! Kueh kueh was delicious without been too sweet. Lovely lady boss too. Best: Lotong, kueh kueh, tauhu goreng

The food is so good that all was forgotten to take a photo before 5 (3 seniors; one teen and writer) unanimously tucked in the food which arrived quite quickly. The gravy that was left (as shown) was even “dao-bao”ed by my mum & aunt. Ayam Buah Keluak “quah” was well-blended, not too thick nor too oily. Assam Fish came in good fish portions, but they could do more with lady’s fingers in this dish. The peanut sauce over the tauhu goreng had the right grounded texture. One piece of tauhu was turning sour though, so some quality check could be done especially for tauhu left till dinner order. The dessert of Bubor Chacha & Chendol: not too sweet which we liked and with enough coconuty-base. It’s a little family restaurant so don’t expect exquisite decor. But it was the food & homely chatting with the founder’s son that scored points.
