I was a student there for 2 years. Did my Bachelor's degree. The location is amazing since it is a little far from downtown, gym on the 5th floor of hostel building, a small stadium and a swimming complex which is only 2 minutes away by walk. Accommodation was reasonable and very good. The course isn't so bad either. ONLY MAJOR PROBLEM is: MDIS students are not eligible for part time work permit. Singapore is quite particular in terms of Visa so do visit ICA website and check. If you want a good student life experience, MDIS is great. But to cover up expenses, it can be a problem.

If you are planning to study Hospitality and Tourism, MDIS is a better option (Diploma to Masters) . They have a training restaurant. Most modules comes with practical training. Lecturers are quite good. Very approachable and supporting type. They send you for internship with good hotels. Student mix is good, Locals, Malaysians, Vietnamese, Indonesians, Indians. Koreans, Chinese, Russians and some Europeans. They have a Food court, 7-11, Good hostel (with bad wifi), a cafe etc. CCA options and clubs also. Soccer, Basketball and Cricket. Lots of competitions if you are keen.

I had sent in an enquiry and I am very sure hat I will join their Teeside university to study for my Bach. Now I see so many negative review, I am holding back. Should I look else where? Any advise. Don't suggest Kaplan because they are bad as well.

The course consultant, Jenny Sheng very rude and very irresponsible person. Was supposed to meet Jenny Sheng that day for course enquiry but she didn’t show up and didnt even tell me anything and tell me busy but told me to come that day. And she not only did not show up and only reply to my messages only 15 minutes before closing and then tell me they are leaving already. But no courtesy to even inform me this that it was cancelled before I came to the school there and only telling me this 15 minutes before closing. End up I go there for nothing and somemore already waited so long!! Seriously what kind of school is this?? And it is not even 5.30pm when that Jenny Sheg consultant ask me to leave and say come another day when it is not even late? Very very bad attitude consultant so lazy want go home early and ask to leave when I already came somemore is not even 5.30pm yet!! No apology somemore, keep saying she want go home. Very lousy school with lousy consultant go apply better school instead of paying high fees here and bad attitude from consultant.

I am truely dissapointed. They are unhelpful and should be fired from their job. I ask about the courses but their consultant quickly ask me when I am applying for it but never explain anything more in detail. They never respond in email or phone, or they took like one week to reply. It is very hard to understand more in detail about courses I am interested in besides only explaining to me about money. As a result, I have decided not to apply here.

I was a student here back in 2008 and left in 2009, the school still own my 40,000 singapore dollar for unused tuition. it's been more a decade, I got 0. Start to think the school did on purpose not giving students money back once the students leave the country.

This is seriously the worst school ever to get your degree. I am not sure about the other department but for school of applied science. It’s the worst. If any student is looking to apply here, please do yourself a favour and don’t apply here. Some teachers here are simply biased and there are a lot of politics going on among themselves and they will show that anger into the students’ marks. It has been a year since I received my final results and I still feel like it’s unfairly graded. I’ve been trying to tell myself that it’s all right, I have graduated but I cannot bring myself at ease regarding this matter. There was a conversation with the teacher that taught me. I went to ask him why did he give me such low marks for presentation. How could any Teachers fail a student for presentation? Unless you did not attend the presentation or no presentation was done. But after all the effort and he gave me low marks for PRESENTATION?? I’m in disbelieve. The same semester I had another module with 1 segment as presentation too and I had good marks for it. Clearly it shows that teacher was a very racist and biased. The teacher simply read off the slides with no explanation and he is expecting so much from students. If only this teacher hadn’t given me such terrible marks for that module, my final percentage could have been higher. Worst school ever. If any parents are researching for their child to come into this school for science, please don’t waste your money on this school. It is simply the worst !!! I feel this school don’t even deserve a 1 star. 0/5.
