DON'T STAY IN THIS DESPICABLE PLACE. Very expensive, bad toilet hygiene, old room conditions (the rooms you see in their brochures are their very few renovated SHOW ROOMS), wifi slow and tend to lose connection, aircon only open from 7 pm to 7 am, the staffs do not wear masks properly, management policy is very unreasonable and ridiculous. There is nothing good about this place. I wish I didn't have to put a star.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! PLZ AVOID THIS PLACE! ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ARE SO TRUE! Here are the detailed reasons to show that my suggestion is actually rational(although I have been very mad at them for a long time). 1. Cleanliness: The toilets are not cleaned thoroughly. Sometimes it is ok but sometimes can see hair in the bath for some consecutive days. My friends living on the other floor echo this. 2. Security: You CANNOT lock your room from inside and the staff have card to enter your room. Once a male staff just opened my door without knocking, because they want to check the condition for the other side or the room. it scared me and I do not feel secure at all. They DONNOT allow visitors in each other's room. 3. Facilities: There are 2 buildings, the female block and male block, each block has at least 30 rooms(doubles or more) on each floor, and there is only ONE shared toilet, ONE fridge(never put anything in the fridge), ONE pantry. Rooms are rather small. I lived in a double alone for 2 weeks and left when they say my roommate was coming. Cannot imagine 2 people in that room, can be very crowded to me. Aircon from 7pm to 7am for weekdays. Gym was closed due to covid. Only 1 study room on the 5th floor, and only about 5 tables. Wifi is rather slow and there is no wifi in the level 5 study room. 4. SUPER INEFFICIENT STAFF Despite the high penalty, I still decided to end the contract and pay about 1/3 of the total price. However, the refund just never arrive! They have written my name wrongly so the bank is unable to cash the refund to me. I have been emailing, chasing and waiting for 1.5 month and counting. (If any of you reading this know how to make an official complaint, please contact me and I will be very thankful.) One star is simply too many, I wish I could put 0 or even negative star. In summary, please avoid this place even though it seems cheap and there are people living inside. You deserve somewhere better, trust me.

There's a lot of negativity from the other reviews. But I think it's not quite fair, because of course the people who have the most to complain about are the ones who will most likely write about it. In this review I'll list both the good and the bad. I just got here by end of december 2021, but I think I've seen enough to have my opinion about the place. Admin - So far, I dont have any qualms with the admins. I only have to talk to them during my onboarding, and they were quite nice and accommodating. Room - I live in the single room. It's fine, there is a bed, a wardrobe, some shelves, a table and a study lamp. There is an AC but you can't turn it on below 7PM, so in the afternoon you can use the fan and open the window. Since I am placed at a high level of the building, the breeze is quite nice and I never felt too hot. - They will clean your room initially, but after that it's your own responsibility. - The condition of the room itself is nice. Not too old but not too new. It doesnt show any signs of being worn down. - The mattress leaves a lot to be desired though, since it's hard as a rock. I'd get a mattress cushion cover if I were you - WiFi is okay - it's not too fast but at least youtube wont buffer. Ive not experienced much trouble with the wifi, but if you are accustomed to faster wifi, you might want a paid mobile plan. Shared Rooms - Pantry is fine, there is a fridge but it's too full, because that one fridge is used by ~40 people on the same floor. There is a sink for washing and hot/cold water dispenser for free water. There is a microwave. You can also use the coin laundry and dryer here. You cant cook tho - The bathroom is pretty standard. Consists of a few cubicles with seated toilets and one squat toilets. There are also some shower cubicles. - The cleanliness of some of the bathroom cubicles leaves a lot to be desired (this is more the fault of the residents than the cleaners IMO). But as long as you avoid these unclean cubicles you should be fine. Cleaners will clean the bathroom approx once a week. Amenities - Having 4 free laundry every day is pretty nice - Much of the shops within the canteen are closed, but there are still some that are open. Prices are reasonable (4-7 SGD). You can also go to a food shop beside MDIS for cheaper (halal) food. - There is a gym with nice enough tools (paid membership). Just opened. - Only one study room, never used it - prefer to study indoors - 7/11 near the shops, very convenient - Your packages are collected by the security, and they will place it in an area where you can collect yourself - Near Queenstown community center, track field, MeiLing Market, Queenstown MRT, Mujahidin Mosque, Bus Stop. Overall a pretty nice place if you want to just focus on studying, because everything is easily accessible and you dont have to take too much time handling all your needs. If I can fix one thing, it would be the cleanliness of some of the shared toilet cubicles. And the rock hard mattress.

I have stayed in this place for few months.there is a food court downstairs and a seven eleven. The environment is clean and the security is good. The bathrooms are super clean.

The bathrooms are filthy, the wifi is often slow, the shared pantry is quite dismal, you can't store food, you barely have place in the fridge and even if you could cook, you wouldn't want to because it is very dirty. There are cockroaches and flies everywhere, and a lot of the time, they go into your room. The laundry situation is similarly bad, as the shared washing machine is either broken or equally dirty. You could take your chances on their complimentary laundry services if you want to risk your clothes being lost. The admin is quite ineffectual, complaining about noise from neighbouring rooms amounts to nothing, even if there are multiple complaints from different people targeted at a single, particularly noisy neighbour, they refuse to do anything about it citing that "They'll just deny making any noise." They refuse to take any action against disruptive people, despite multiple people complaining about them. They have a long list of rules they expect you to follow, including not keeping any food inside your room or having any music, but despite that, are virtually incapable of enforcing any of it when people are actually being disruptive. Don't live here.

On top of the bad but true points mentioned by other reviewers, the management is ridiculous and rude too. They always make loud, disturbing announcement from the speaker anytime they want, like every one is in the building 24/7. Then, they require us to keep our shoes inside our room because of β€œfire hazard” and β€œthey block the way”??? Please, it’s unheard of. They should go put their shoes in their own bedrooms first, see if they like it. Oh, they can’t do math too! If you are paying for a double room alone, you still get the resources of a single person! So even though you cost less than 2 ppl living in a double room, you get less too!! Brilliant math! I will end this accurate post by urging those who are considering to stay here to READ ALL THE ONE-STAR REVIEWS. They are not exaggerated!! There is a reason why people spend their time and effort to write reviews for this place - this place is JUST THAT BAD. All those five stars from local guides are straight up misleading, they were / are not even residents.

RUN AWAY! This is the worst place ever! Total scam, don’t believe any word that they say. Rooms are terrible, pantry is a joke with only one small microwave and small fridge which if you put something it will go to trash without any warning. Getting deposit refund is impossible especially if you are an international student with overseas bank account. Refund period is strangely 6 to 8 weeks so probably you will leave Singapore by the time. And you can be sure they will create some issues on that to not pay. I left the place 4 weeks ago which I got assurance from the management team that there will be no problem as I was not comfortable leaving Singapore without my deposit refund and I was right as still struggling to get my money back! Every time I reach they are giving new stupid excuses for a simple SWIFT process. Just protect your mental health and stay in another place! Do not do the same mistake I did!
