MapleBear Moulmein - 207 Balestier Rd

I had my two children going to Maplebear Moulmein since the end of last year (2021), and we have since withdrawn our children because they encountered numerous injuries since going there. Not sure if there’s a lack of staff to monitor the kids, or if the teachers do not bother or care enough for the children. Disappointing because they definitely do not live up to the promise of giving the kids a Maplebear experience other than their fancy play areas and ideas about how lessons should be carried out. The playground is very dangerous, because my child has had about two injuries, with a permanent scar, in her short 7 months there. My younger child who was in the infant care, always came back with injuries like being bitten repeatedly or being mishandled (carried quite roughly). The teachers do not communicate with parents regularly as well. They always run off when they see parents of their own students at the door -given that we already do not communicate much. That was quite a strange culture as we have been to another pre school prior to this and communication was alright. The check-in and out of children takes very long as well, and has no visible improvement even after feedback was given to the school.

Dedicated team of teachers who truly care and understand my child. The teachers make an effort to find alternative ways to engage the children and encourage participation. Thank you for the great experience!

I send my baby here when she was 3months old. Worried at first because she's so young and in a new place most of the days. My worries are gone in the first week because i see all the smiley photos teachers sent! My baby is so happy every single day!!! The teachers in Maplebear Moulmein are all loving, kind and love the babies there. There's so much activities that they do every day which it is definitely not possible for me to do it myself if my baby is kept at home. On a weekly basis, the teachers will update photos of the activities they do in school, on n off teachers send us photos in the comm book as well. I have friends with babies in other schools and their updates is nOt as much compared to Maplebear Moulmein. I am so happy to find this school when i search for infant care after my baby is born and it is so heartwarming to see her happy...every single day... Every morning when we send her to school, she's all smiles and excited! Definitely a great school for the kids to grow up in!

MBM despite being a relatively new branch that started in early 2020, the teachers are very professional and genuinely care and loves the children. Our daughter enjoys school a lot and is always telling us about what she was taught in school. The school also provides clear communication to us and we appreciate it. Big thank you to all staff in MBM and we highly recommend this school.

The facilities are new, clean and the entire centre is brightly lit. The teachers are caring and genuinely love and care for children. My child really enjoys her lessons and classes. Big thank you to her teachers for your tireless efforts!

My son has been going to the school since he turned 18months. It has been a seamless journey to say the least and has a pool of quality and passionate teachers who are always thinking out of the box methods to engage the kids. We like the school so much we plan to send our 3 month-old as well once she is of age.

Our little girl started with MapleBear Moulmein (MM) since it opened its doors. MM recruits good teachers. A really important point to note is that the school owner also send her kids to the same school. So, we can be assured that the school standards are constantly kept high. Your child can feel safe, secure and well taken care of in this school. Thumbs up.

Highly recommend MapleBear Moulmein, as our baby has been thriving under the care of the principal and teachers. They are knowledgeable and dedicated to her. We can tell that the teachers genuinely love our baby, and she is always all smiles whenever she checks in to school. She has been progressing towards her milestones very quickly, and we enjoy receiving the teachers’ regular photo updates on her development. We feel assured knowing she is in good hands. No regrets in choosing this school!
