★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice mosque on the outside. We were given appropriate clothes to enter the women's part, but it was just plain and uninteresting. I wonder what the men's part looked like. Probably nicer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest Mosques in Singapore. If you look into design carefully from the ceilings to the wooden doors, it's all from past. I think it need a major renovation for the exterior. New carpets. New sign board. New showcases. We should preserves as much as we can to the mosque so that we can teach our future generations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Masjid Jamae back in early March before the Singapore shutdown. This mosque is very close to the Chinatown area on the main street of South Bridge Road. Were it not for the two pagoda style towers at the front of the building, it would be a rather innocuous looking building. There’s not much to see inside because visitors are limited to walking around the corridor which is just full of information about Islam and proselytisation. So unless you’ve literally never encountered Islam, then getting photos from the outside will be enough.
