When I joined his tuition centre in sec 2, i was scoring F9s but he have managed to push me to a B3 in sec 4.Really thankful to Mr Richard for being a such patient tutor. He have a great sense of humour and made lessons really enjoyable!!!Thanks to his guidance, I was able to understand the topics well.

Mr Richard is a very professional and helpful teacher. Other than teachings, he always make sure he will do revision with his students and go through topics that students are weak on. With his help and teaching, there are improvements in my grades.

Having been taught by Mr. Richard for 8 years, he has helped me improve in my studies in both my Mathematics and English! I am very thankful to have been taught by him as he was able to give professional information which was easy to understand, he has also guided me to change my terrible attitude and habits. He made me realise that I should be more aware of my surroundings and respect others for they are willing to spend numerous hours to help me develop my future. His professional ways of teaching have helped me aced through my exams and even pushed me from NA Mathematics to Express Mathematics. If I had not been to his tuition, I wouldn't be able to ace my exams or even go to Express Mathematics. His lessons are very engaging as once in a while we would crack a joke to ease everyone's mind from the difficult questions. Once again I would like to thank Mr. Richard for being very patient with my terrible attitude for the past few years.

His engaging teaching method helped me to grasp the concept taught in class better. Since his pace of teaching the different chapters in the textbook is ahead of the school's pace, it allowed me to solidify my understanding of the concept when it is being taught in school. This helped to lay a foundation for learning the concept before reviewing it again in school. I always look forward to his revision classes as it gives me a chance to practise solving questions from various chapters to better prepare myself for the semester exams. Apart from that, he is also a teacher who strives to forge a good and close relationship with his students which made me look forward to going for his classes even though they may be late at night. Though his lessons may overrun 5-10 minutes at times, he always makes sure that we understand the concept taught before calling it a day. He also does not hesitate to help us if we have problems with our school work, shown by his willingness to stay back after class to clear our individual doubts, whether or not he overrun the lesson. Hence, I am thankful for his guidance throughout the majority of my secondary school years.

I came into math tablet with mediocre grades (about a C6) and was struggling to understand concepts taught by school. However after being guided with Mr Chia, i managed to have achieve an A at the end of my my N levels, within a span of 1 year. Mr Chia is a dedicated tutor who will go above and beyond to help his students, and because of his helped, it also helped me to be better prepared for the questions that may appear in my exams that might not necessarily have been taught by school.

Imbued with a strong passion for the Mathematics, Mr Chia never fails to give his best week in week out during lessons. He strongly believes in every student's potential and aims to produce results from every student in his class. Needless to say, Mr Chia is an excellent tutor who deliver clear and precise instructions during class, often ahead of the school schedule so that we will not feel lost when our teacher goes through the same concept in class. Mr Chia firmly believes in class interaction, thus he always engage each and every student by asking them questions and likewise encouraging them to do so too, thus no student is ever left behind. Additionally, Mr Chia offers after class consultation for introverted students to clarify any doubts they have during the lesson. When I first started Mathematics tuition with Mr Chia 2 years ago, I was scoring below average for my lower secondary Mathematics. Worst still, in secondary three, I was forced to take A math by my school and I found myself worrying about my grades. However, under Mr Chia's patient guidance, I found that my fears were uncalled for. With hard work from the student's side as well as help from an excellent tutor, A math is much less daunting and can even be, dare I say, fun at some times. From a struggling-to-pass student, I scored excellent results for my O levels under the short 2 years under Mr Chia. I absolutely believe that Mr Chia is the best tutor for you and your Mathematics grades are in safe hands!

My tutor, Mr Richard, is an outstanding educator. Though he can be strict, he treats his students with respect and great care. In his small-group tutoring, he understands every individual student's challenges. All thanks and credit go to him when i received the Edusave Best Progress Award in the years i attended lessons at Maths Tablet. He still keeps in touch with us, his ex-students, to mentor us and give advice to encourage us in our future endeavours. I would like to thank him for being an important person in my growing up years.

I started AMath lessons with Mr Richard in Sec 3 and my grades were constantly improving ever since, he explains the concept really well and thoroughly, making sure every student is able to understand and grasp the concept before leaving his class. Despite lessons sometimes ending late, he still dedicate his time for after lesson consultations and always encourages us to clear up any doubts. He also tend to keep his classes small so it’s very easy for us to ask questions as well! He is also a really friendly and easy going teacher who will sometimes crack some jokes here and there to lighten up the mood :) I really had no regrets joining this tuition centre and I highly recommend this tuition centre to any parents who are considering of sending your kids to Math tuition!
