One of the rare few stores that have service staff more than willing to serve you when you are inside the store, so unlike the bigger more famous ones where the staff are more interested to form little groups to chat or play with their devices even when you approach them for help. Best thing is, they are willing to show u the brands you requested unlike those others who are incentivised to push a particular brand for that month and will show a total lack of interest to show other brands. Pricing wise, I would not say that they are the cheapest for all items. Consumers should do their own prep work beforehand. Even then, I would be more than willing to pay a little premium for the service I am getting. Eventually settled for the nice Champ Legend heater and a single burner town gas Brandt hob at very competitive pricing. Look for Sam, at United Square Branch. He is really service and customer oriented and does his very best to help u save costs.

Staff claims that all their washing machine are tested first before delivery to customer which explains why there is water in the drums when i recd it. As for the display panels protective plastic to prevent scratches, they had removed it on our behalf. I had previous Samsung washers before and i had no such experience. Now i am facing a dilemma coz the delivery staff did not test the washing machine when i requested them to do so and was told to refer to the manual myself. Staff told me i can only change for a brand new only if Samsung certify faulty. I am not comfortable with the β€œbrand new” washer as it noisy which i believe should be silent when new.

My shopping experience here left a bad taste in my mouth, and hopefully sharing it will lead to the sales team at this outlet to change their ways. TL;DR - the sales staff who serviced us didn't come across as gentlemen, but rather people who don't blink an eye in bashing competitors. This sector may have thin margins to fight for, but as a genuine customer, I shouldn't be put in the crosshairs. Their price match guarantee seemed convincing at first. Upon finding a better deal elsewhere though, we were asked to show proof, without which they were not willing to issue a refund on our deposit. Said proof was used to kick up a ruckus with their competitor. This put us as hapless consumers in a very awkward spot with the competitor. It made us feel very terrible for what was essentially an honest error by another salesperson. I understand the nature of manufacturer and retailer agreements and why an issue was raised. But doing so doesn't have to be adversarial, neither should it make a consumer feel terrible for things beyond their control. I hope the team can give their processes a rethink.

Worse salesman ever. Aunty was gd and answered my questions. But when i asked about the steam function of the oven, she wasn’t sure and asked another guy who was darn rude. The answer was β€œjust put water on the tray lor. If u don’t know how to use, call the service center for demo”. This coming from a salesperson!!??. Why need him when i should go to service center? Worst encounter ever. 1 star for the aunty who was nice.

Was approached by a salesperson who was kind enough to alert me of a future roadshow (and further price discount) and how he can help me get obtain the road show price. After I decided on my purchase, this sales person was occupied with other customer. So I approached another salesman to finalise the order. This second salesman, upon knowing I was served previously (by the first salesperson), suddenly claimed ignorant about the roadshow, and advice me to come again during the roadshow??!! I walked out of the shop, happy to know that I will be letting another shop/salesman earn my commission.

Despite what alot have said here about bad service, just went down today n service was good.. Sam was knowledgeable and friendly..n the other sales personnel he recommended were all good too. No pushy sales, n assured me their price matching can be done. I will do my price matching later n see

Bought a fridge during their road show recently. one of the condition is to have extended warranty. The sales person tell me the management is in discussion with the insurance co and will take about 1 month. They will be offering it just need time to finalise the details and someone will call me once is available. Taking his words, I bought the fridge and already more than 1 month. been going to their store at United square to follow up. Every time tell me is still in discussion..... Beware on their verbal "promise"

Mega Discount Store, I am appalled by your quality of service provided. This piece is manned by people who do not know their manners. I went to your store and was browsing your LG televisions on display. I picked up the remote control which was put on the display table, to just have a look at the features of the TV. However, one of your salesmen walked over and shouted, "NO PRESSING!" before snatching it out of my hand. Firstly, I was merely *holding* the remote not *pressing* which is very different. Secondly, if I was not supposed to touch, he could have spoken in a better way and more importantly not snatch. After this first incident, I went on to the next section with that salesman hot on my heels and I picked up a brochure but was unpleasantly greeted by him telling me, "You better put back properly ah!" Does he think I do not know how to put back a piece of paper? I vow never to ever patronize this store ever again. Those who have a similar experience, please like and share this review. I am clearly not an exception, since there are many other reviews complaining about their service. I do not like writing bad reviews and this is my second, however, I think that this store is more than deserving of one!
