This is the best and most reasonably priced yong tau foo I have eaten in my 34 years residence in Singapore. I learned long ago that Yong tau foo is basic. It is essential that the ingredients are fresh, especially the greens and sprouts. Also any fried or oily items won't taste as good if left out too long. After 4 visits to this place, I am very satisfied with not only the quality of the yong tau foo (which is reasonably priced at S$4.20 including soup, noodles and choice of 6 ingredients) but with the nice ambience (shaded, not stuffy, not overcrowded but each time I am the only Westerner there it seems but always a place to sit without using napkins) and most especially the very friendly positive vibes from the staff there. I try to order in Mandarin and they happily correct me. It helps that I have patronized this place after working out at the Active SG Fitness centre across the street in Clementi (senior citizens ... and I am a Singaporean believe it or not ...are entitled to $100 credit on visits to gym). So I arrive hot, sweaty and hungry ... and instead of cooling down dish this yong tau foo really hits the spot. The best part is the yong tau foo is added incentive to keep up gym routine at Clementi SG.

Appalling service crew by an old auntie and another short tempered lady, extremely rude, yelling at customers. This happened twice while I was patronising this outlet. Service crew have clear communication issues. Does not deserve even one star at all. Management needs to reflect on this as the bad service is tarnishing your brand. Old crew of the friendly uncle and guy are so much better. Would recommend all to avoid this outlet like a plague until they can resolve this.

Yong Tau Foo is good cos a lot of ingredients they made themselves but their fish soup on the side is better!!! Broth is rich and yummy!

Went on 11-2-2022 for take away. Service attitude was rude. I was trying to use CDC voucher and overheard uncle told the cashier: if a lot of people don’t accept the voucher. Also I heard him moaning “wah liao” - impatiently, when i asked for soup for my “dried bee hoon” take away and extra 1 packet of sweet sauce. May be I am really asking for too much but dried bee hoon in yong tau foo usually come with small soup. And there is no queue forming after me (yes i was blocking because i asked about the CDC voucher). Business has been dropping since opening and I will not return to a store with rude attitude. There are just too many good foods around.

Authentic Hakka Yong Tau Foo that’s different from most places, with wide varieties. They even separate the fried stuff and it’s fried to crisp. Tasty and reasonable price. It’s situated inside a housing block food court at one corner. Non air con but the place is quite cozy. I always come for their laksa with thick mee hoon. The taste is just nice and you may add more yellow beans, chili etc to suit your preference.

Simple and tasty. What i fear most about Yong Tau Foo is that the food items (especially fish meat) tastes "Bad"at night. Exposed throughout the day since morning can allow the items to go bad if the store owner does not know how to "handle food". Their item display look pretty simple with lesser items left, but all do look decent. This store owner handles food well, and is patient/courteous as well. That is why its is yummy (both handmade dumpling and fried meat ball) even at night and why its a 5 stars.

Food is great but the staff working here are always mixing up orders and creating a lot of confusion. I’ve requested for the fried items to be packed separately from the soup and the lady said that it was a given. Surprise surprise, they then gave me everything in a soup container and insist that I didn’t have any fried item. A few orders in front of me were also mixed up and they were just asking everyone whose order has 1 or 2 meatballs and they just randomly tried to find the “correct” bowl. Every week, I see some new staff working in some new way. I wish management could just fix a proper workflow and train their staff properly

Extremely poor service and rude foreign staff for no reason, they probably hate their jobs LOL. The items supposed to be fried, the staff went to boil (excuse me why you boil a already fried wanton LOL) and blame the customer for not indicating when we've already informed. Nobody in queue but yet received this attitude from their staff. And no idea why their staff cut the guo tiao so short like its meant for babies, take away and the staff didn't bother separating the guo tie & the soup. Disgusting service and poor quality for the EXPENSIVE food served. $17++ for just 3 packs lol. Overpriced food w a complementary horrible service from their staff, DON'T RECOMMEND unless you want to be dissed at for no reason.
