Good place to relax,nice homey ambience.less crowded than others within the area.good sandwich, tasty! Give a try on the pastries too,they definitely choose a good baker for those they selling. And great coffee.high quality coffee beans from Liberty, one of the pioneer in local coffee roastery.slightly in higher price,ice latte for $8.50 but it's worth it!?

Was looking for a coffee place in late afternoon and stumble upon here. A cafe hidden inside a clothing shop. Coffee is very well balance, not too acidic nor bitter. Not steamy hot, somethg you can drink at once upon serviced. Very cosy environment

Went there for breakfast. The place was a mix of a retail shop and a cafe. Ordered avocado toast that tastes so so. Literally it's just the toast and avocado on top without anything at the side and it costs 11bucks. My friend tried the salmon avocado toast (the salmon was an extra topping) and she recommended it. Coffee was so so, nothing special. The staff were however very nice and friendly.

I’ve never been to New York to experience the gold standard of bagels, so perhaps I’m not the best person to gripe about bagel quality. That being said, I’m pretty sure that whatever is going on with these bagels by Schmear is far from anything that a bagel should be. These bagels are the antithesis of bread; they were hard and hard to eat, and above all, kind of lacking in flavour. What’s even more appalling is that their excuse for a smoked salmon bagel was a staggering $14 for a paltry amount of filling. Also, this took 25 min to arrive. To add insult to injury, customers who arrived later were served first. Coffee was highly forgettable, which suppose explains why the staff seemed so distracted and excruciatingly slow with bringing out our drinks even on a quiet afternoon. It’s really a pity everything about this dining experience was so poor because I want to like hanging out at Monument. It’s a cool location and has an interesting retail to browse through while waiting for that coffee you thought had been forgotten and for a bagel you will most certainly regret ordering.

The taste and texture was as disgusting as it looks for the avocado toast. The coffee had almost no taste of coffee. $8 for a cup of warm milk. This was a takeaway order via Deliveroo. I visited the place and ordered before, and it was not like this. Food and coffee were good. Last two orders I made were horrible. Something must have changed, so better to avoid takeaway orders.

Nice quiet Sunday afternoon chill out place. Coffee is nice enough to just sit and lazy. Was feeling a little nibbly, pastrami melt cheddar bagel was satisfying.

Nice chill place to relax and have a sit. Did not try the food, but had a cup of chai latte. The chai latte is just alright for its sweetness and milkiness. Aroma of spices is just right and blends with the milk foam well. Will definitely return again to try out the food menu. There are some goods all around the shop for patrons to purchase. But most people came for the food and beverage ?
