大胡子串烧 Moustache BBQ - 70 Lor 25A Geylang

1st visit to this 串串 restaurant. Very crowded. It was about 10pm and we still needed to wait for a table. Got a lot of varieties. Overall, the food is tasty. A good place for 串串.

Previously eaten theirs once via delivery, reheated at home, both the cooked dishes and the grills tasted great, 5/5. Dined in today Saturday dinner 5.30pm. 4/5 for food and 2/5 for service. Severely understaffed, cooked food came up first, the waitress didn't set up the table, didn't notice the absence of utensils. The cooked food tastes great though, we had scallion tofu and 锅包肉. Grills came up much later and was lukewarm, below expectation. The staffs were super busy partially because there were constant delivery pickups. That left little capacity to serve dine-in guests, clear away tables for waiting guests etc. I guess I'll be better off to get takeaway or delivery the next time.

Was so tempted to do a 2 star. The food was great. The price was good. The service was just absolute rubbish because of one staff. Took our order and left it by the side only to carry on her supper. Our drinks took 15 minutes to arrive and it was only 2 cans of Jiajia Liang Cha. No apology no remorse. Thankfully the subsequent staff who attended to us were better.

Great, tasty, Chinese food. It's less pricier than the well known Chongqing Grilled Fish, but it tasted as good. ? Personally recommend the grilled mutton and pork. The fish is tasty too. Parking is convenient.

waited an hour (or perhaps more) after taking the queue number at around 7pm on a saturday night. the ticket had a qr code for patrons to scan to know the status of the queue but it wasn't working? good thing is they will call you once you have a table, bad thing is you can't see the status of the queue. that being said, food was great, cheap and yummy skewers, total bill came up to $51 for 3pax. wouldn't recommend the fish tho, gravy was rather bland. (we had more food but didn't manage to snap photos because we were too hungry from the long wait)

First time here, and this place really blew my mind with their adept use of spices. The 3 most memorable dishes were their 1) Tofu Skin, 2) Spicy Lamb Chop, and 3) their Table Spice. Their tofu skin was very aromatic and well seasoned, it was really appetising. Their lamb was terribly tender, and it was well seasoned. I’m salivating as I’m writing this. Their Spice Condiment was off the roof. However, as we got to the bottom of the bottle, the spice started tasting stale. Their “Bake The Bone” was too gamey and underwhelming for me, but my buddy enjoyed it. So, I’d say it’s up to personal preference. Chicken Feet was delicious and aromatic, but the rest of the skewers, such as Lamb, Pork, Pork Skin, Pork Intenstines, were rather underwhelming. Please do not be alarmed if you experience a few rowdy tables as this place also offers beers to go with the spicy foods. This place also serves complimentary and refillable Iced Water upon request to help soothe my weak tongue from the spices Overall enjoyable, and would come back for the first two mentioned dishes.

Very big portion of food, fast serving too. Their 青岛very cheap. They are having promotions, buy 3 free 1. Average one bottles only $4.50. We ordered a lot of bbq stick and dishes. We very like their 土匪猪肝 and 爆炒肥肠. They decorated the dish and make our day. Price is affordable and the restaurant quite small and noisy. Definitely will visit again.

Expect a long wait for seating if you go on a weekend or eve of PH, especially during dinner time. This is a really popular place because their food is very good. This restaurant has a big menu with many many options. Once seated, food order comes quickly. Beer is cheap. Overall, a nice place to hang out with friends over good food.
