Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie - 23 Sin Ming Rd

Ordered the bon bon for friend's birthday & to be deliver on 9 Nov, but the chocolates did not arrive even after 7pm. Just when I thought the chocolates will only reach her next day, the delivery came around 11+pm! Kudos to your delivery guy for working till so late! And also to the CS team on making sure my request were handle efficiently!

Passed by the shop while doing some takeout. The clean shopfront and an open kitchen with the chocolatier busy at work caught my attention, and I was curious and decided to pop in. The staff in the shop are extremely passionate about their job, and took the time to describe the various chocolates and their individual nuances. They were very patient, and never pressured the customer to choose quickly or hurry the customer. I had high expectations on how they chocolates tasted, as they looked really good! And when I got home to try, I wasn't disappointed. The chocolates taste as good as they looked. I had the Dark Pahit (Gin + orange peel), matcha (really fantastic Green tea flavour), double soy caramel (daek/light Soy with caramel) and cookies and cream, and they all tasted really good. Defintely worth heading back if you need your chocolate fix!

Omg I love this alot. I actually found the rival of Wimbly Lu's ice chocolate. It's smooth creamy and so chocolaty. I can taste the good quality chocolate that they use and it is of a high percentage. The sale staff did let me know but I can't remember what they said. Maybe you might wanna added the product description in the sticker on the bottle. The cost is $6 per bottle. It's a good value because some places do charge $10+ a cup. But then again it's a sit down cafe while Mr bucket is a take away shop and it's quite a distance to walk for those who do not drive. What makes it worth it is when you manage to snag a bottle that has to consumed on that day itself. It will go for just half price $3. Omg I was over the moon. Pls do drop by and get the chocolate drink if you happen to be in the vicinity. It's really nice. I also bought a box of 12 bonbons for $36. So far we loved most if it. Here are our verdicts The alcoholic ones are pretty nice Milk 45%,64%-good Golden yay-has nice crushy layer and salted caramel layer Matcha milk-mild green tea with the boba pearl Gingerbread-tastes more like biscoff. I like sweet biscoff but it might not pls people who want that spice of a gingerbread Peppermint cookie-tastes more like peppermint,didn't get the cookie taste Somehow I just taste a cheese taste in the rosemary honey. Not for me Overall, we liked most of the flavours and look forward to ordering and trying the rest. Will make a repeat visit again to buy more chocolate and get more ice chocolate too.

Ordered 12 different non-alcoholic to try the different flavours. Quite a number have caramel fillings and the caramel fillings totally overwhelmed the taste of any chocolates, not recommended. It is also same for the mint flavour, the mint just overwhelmed the taste of chocolate. Only 1 dark chocolate flavour was ok. For all the flavours, the shell is so hard even in room temperature, even the mass produced chocolates taste better with their shell. Summary, too much filling that overwhelms the taste of chocolates, too sweet even though it is claimed that they are dark chocolates. The chocolates are not smooth and don’t have the melt in the mouth texture.

Nice open concept chocolate shop. Mainly selling chocolate drink and chocolates only! Very minimalist decor. Chocolate drink handmade daily! Chocolate bons bons box of 6 for $20.

Bought a set of 12 as a gift and a set of 6 to try it myself. Beautiful presentation and flavours are true to its name. The only downside is the size of their paper bag? The set of 12 box was obviously so tiny for the huge paperbag and that was the only size that could fit the box.

Overall, the chocolate quality is pretty good and most of the flavours were distinct and unique. We had trouble trying to pick only 12 flavours. May 2022: first visit and definitely will not be my last. Love the whole experience from choosing the chocolates for my 12 choc box to the tasting of the various flavours. Favourite ones this time round: yea and biscuits as well as whisky!!!! June 2022: second visit to use new batch of CDC vouchers :) yum! I brought along the previous box for a 10% discount. Was told I could just bring any box of mine and still get the sustainability discount. Nice!
