The art space was perfectly located in a garden which made for a better, peaceful environment when doing art. The instructions is also very accepting and gives constructive feedback, which makes me feel like I can express my art better. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try art.

If you hesitated for way too long to start painting this is the right place for u! Just go and start immediately painting on canvas and let the teachers to lead you and advise for your personal improvement. Teachers are attentive, helpful, nice and passionate people easy to interact with ?

I love coming to paint here. It's a perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening. Classes aren't structured and artists are encouraged to find their own style and inspiration. The instructors provide a calm and tranquil experience and one I recommend to anyone interested in finding their own artistic spirit.

I went for a 3 days 2 nights South Malaysia Art Excursion with Chankerk organised by My Art Space in May 2022. This was my first overseas Art Excursion. It was a very enjoyable and enriching art trip. We went to many places for sketching, ranging from paddy fields, fishing villages, rivers to old towns with shop houses and landmarks at Kluang, Batu Pahat, Muar and Malacca. Chankerk is a fantastic artist cum teacher. Throughout the trip, he taught us useful sketching techniques and inspired us with the beauty of sketching. For a beginner like me, he would provide one-to-one coaching, while for the more experienced participants, he would give them freedom to explore and exchange ideas and perspectives. We also had a great time enjoying a wide variety of local food and chit chatting along the way with new friends we met during the trip. This is really a wonderful excursion. Looking forward to joining more art trips in future.

Many thanks to our art-tutor-tour-food guide, Chankerk for an inspirational three-day art excursion to Johor and Malacca, 14-16 June, 2022. I enjoyed being in the wide open spaces of colourful Malaysia with great company and especially learning how to sketch more freely, and by the last day was able to feel a greater "loosening up" in my sketching. Seeing one's art come alive, with a sense of self- improvement, is most satisfying indeed!

My Art Space is really a great place for learning. The atmosphere there is artsy friendly. You can see, smell and taste arts , freedom and creations. The instructors are all very friendly and experienced. Personally I feel I can learn every time in the workshops from instructor as well as classmates. Highly recommend people like to learn arts even just for exploring. This is a fun place for lifelong learnings???

My first class in my art space was bought by a friend as a Christmas gift few months ago. I fell in love with this place after the very first trial class. The environment is quiet and peaceful, with background music playing in the class. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. The instructor has their unique way of teaching, which is exactly why I decided to start my art journey with them. Instead of spoon feeding me from scratch, my teacher encouraged me to paint according to my own idea and thoughts. Along the way he will discuss with me and help me understand more concepts behind the painting, rather than teaching the exact skills like usual classroom lessons. The teacher respected my own thoughts and encouraged me to go ahead and try it out. It feels more like you (as an artist creating your own masterpiece) are talking to another artist and discussing about art work, not like a student to teacher which you own thoughts may get affected by teacher's thoughts and judgement. I have learnt to dare to make mistakes and thrive from it. Learnt to creat my own art piece rather than trying hard just to copy others. I really appreciate my art space for providing this space for people who have an artist dream to make their dream come true.

This is the most amazingly conducive facility for art that we have ever come across in Singapore. The huge double storey space itself inspires creativity, learning and participation. My wife just signed up and is looking forward to learning, sharing and honing her craft. Thankful to have found this place.
