A small stall tuck right in the corner with very limited sitting. Mee Siam taste more to sour, not spicy. Laksa has thick gravy but taste slightly bland. Popiah is nice but slightly pricy.

Been eating this for more than 10 years. It’s my favourite popiah - moist and has a crunchy mouth feel. Can be crowded at times as the shop is small but the turn over is quick! One popiah for $2.5.

Popiah very compact with ingredient. Too dry for my preference, but I think that is the way to enable them to compact so much ingredients into one Popiah. Not on the sweet side. Mee Siam quite average.

Exorbitantly priced (price has increased a lot since my school times) and tasted somewhat different from before. Had the popiah ($2.50) and laksa ($7.50). Popiah had generous filling with sweet sauce and chilli sauce that delivered a hint of spiciness. It was not outstanding and definitely did not warrant $2.50. Laksa looked and smelled decent but upon tasting it, detected an unpleasant oily coconutty aftertaste. Prawns were also pathetically small. Would give this place a pass. But if you do drop by, this store has very limited spaces that accommodate under 8 patrons at any one time. Be prepared to wait.

Superb $5.00 Mee Siam I’ve ever rated. The gravy is not the typical sweet and sour. Inside the gravy there seem to be prawn paste perhaps and coconut milk.the popiah is another must try list, it is bigger, more nice ingredients and cost only $2.50 per piece. Highly recommended.

I like mee siam. This mee siam is worth the travel. I usually like it more sour but this was complex and balanced, great rempah and toothy bee hoon. They also deep fry the tau kwa which gave it a crunch. The laksa wasn't bad either but quite run of the mill. Kueh pie tee is worth ordering though the cilantro wasn't fresh enough. Note they don't sell popiah on Sundays... Will have to come back for that.

Been having meals here occasionally for the past 2 decades, and they may be the only stall in Singapore that serves mee siam with the gravy soaked tao pok bits still crispy! Shiok. I always enjoy mine with a popiah. Easily one of the best holdable non-messy popiah around. Damn shiok.

Great Popiah, well balanced flavors and textures. Skin is soft and chewy, with crisp rice for that little crunch. Sweet savory and chili with a little kick. A taste of nostalgia for those who grew up eating this heritage food. For a relatively big roll, it cost $2.80 each. Down side, the place has limited seating. Timing is everything.
