Depending on each parent perspective on how education should be run, every school has its good and 'bad'... From a perspective, for some, Nan Chiau may seems not as hard on academics as compared to some other schools, but, from another perspective, Nan Chiau is still a relatively good school within Sengkang, producing a fair share of GEP students and also producing students going to well-known Sec schools, consistently on yearly basis. If given chance to make bigger impact, an area of improvement could be strengthening the variety and quality of CCA, and willingness to spend on good external resources for CCA could enhance overall learning experience of students. As one of Hokkien Huay Kuan schools, Nan Chiau definitely focuses a lot on key values and Chinese culture, while not forgeting catering to other races, ensuring a racial harmonious environment.

Graduate, looking back this school gives a lot of opportunities for kids to grow. I still have fond memories of when I studied here and the fun I had as a kid

I'm typing this review after graduation for 10 years and I lived in the vicinity. Teachers were really great and surrounding area has 3 7-elevens. Decent sch to enroll in. All primary schools are good schools.

I saw a video that the students bowed to cars politely that stopped and gave way at the zebra crossing.

ex student ncps is a rather good school and i had a great time there.I had scored a 250+ for psle however the pressure placed on kids to score well esp for the band 1 classes is tremendous. Ncps prioritises grades more than anything in my opinion

This school had amazing teachers and I manage to improve quite fast Academically. I had really good memories here
