★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good serving of fishballs and fishcake, but highlight was the teochew dumpling. Noodle's taste a bit flat despite the generous splash of vinegar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered both fish and meat dumplings soup. Fish dumpling had a small knob of meat but was very flavourful while the meat dumpling was more generous in filling. Both are equally outstanding. Soup was clear and light, with some lettuce.
A PRC guy now cooks instead of the old man.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was exploring the beo crescent neighborhood and decided to head to the beo crescent food market for lunch. Had previously heard about this stall that sells fishball noodle and decide to give this place a try. From their signboard, they have been around since 1961.
Had their fishball noodle, prices start from SGD$3.50 onwards. First impression, the portion is very generous. The bowl of noodle comes with wanton, fishcake, fishball, minced meat and fish dumpling. Usually for this portion, it would be at least $4-5 elsewhere. Noodle was alright, nothing special that I will come back just to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fishballs noodles are now made by the son?, while it tastes a little different from the past, but I still like their fish balls noodles. Lots of ingredients and the noodles is tasty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still as good as the last time we ate here a few years back. This stall and the food brings back memories of family times (20+ years ago) when our kids were very young.
Its good to see younger generation manning the stall now too. We need to support and patronise our local food stall owners and operators.
Fast fwd to 1 Apr 2022. Glad to have lunch here after the covid war is over! :)
