We had an extremely mixed experience with NannyPro, with some highs and many lows, and thought it was important to leave a constructive review here. First - the highs: NannyPro responds quickly and clearly. They offered profiles that appeared to fit the complex job we had (2 month old twins, overnights), and we agreed to an arrangement rapidly. The lows: 1. The original Nanny - we were happy with the original nanny we selected, but when it came to confirming her for a longer-term arrangement, we were told that the original rates agreed to were no longer acceptable to her, and that she wanted to charge ~2x what the original cost would have been per month. This gave us a huge shock, especially coming just the day before we were counting on having a nanny on a regular basis. For some perspective, the cost she was asking for would have been about 2x what a full time confinement nanny is paid. 2. The second Nanny - NannyPro to their credit apologised for the sticker shock, and worked quickly to find us a replacement, who came in the same day we agreed on her profile. This second Nanny was a disaster - she was a lovely person, with the best of intentions, but she was in no way equipped to deal with a complex job involving twins or overnights. She had no prior experience of babysitting, and her last experience was either 1.5 years ago caring for a friend's child, or 23 years' ago caring for her own. We had assumed that NannyPro's screening process would take this into account (especially since the first Nanny was good, albeit unreasonably expensive), but assumed wrongly. None of this information was contained in her profile either, or conveyed to us to allow us to make an informed choice. As a result, my wife and I had a much more stressful night than we would have had without a babysitter. We had to keep an eye on basic things like formula mixing, burping, and looking out for the right cues. These are things that are picked up with experience, and a more basic babysitting job would have been the right place for this, not ours. We had a difficult and unrestful night and felt like we were on the verge of having a safety issue on our hands. In sum, we were disappointed by NannyPro. The trial rates are high, and we ended up paying it for the dubious privilege of having a nanny that never converted to a longer term contract. They do have some good nannies, but the screening process is inconsistent. While the job we needed someone for was difficult, we would have simply appreciated if we were told honestly that there was no one suitable - it would have allowed us to move on quickly to an alternative option. I have no doubt that NannyPro offers great service to others, but it really just didn't work out for us.

Becky and team are thorough, efficient and well versed in understanding the respective needs of their clients. They also make sure that your home is the right match for what the nanny may be looking for to reduce the risk of a mismatch. It helps if you can be specific with your needs and what you don’t want so they can be clear right from the start. I have to say they were quick to help identify someone that would fit well with our family’s needs and well suited for our 5 month old baby boy. Having a loving, caring, smart and genuine pair of hands to care for your baby is a blessing in so many ways for a mommy going back to work full time. So thank you for helping us find a lovely nanny and making the transition back to work less stressful for Mommy :)!!!

I've been hiring nanny from nanny pro from last 4 months. They are truly unprofessional organization. Nanny tooks 4 days leave on 20 days of working days. The experience with nanny was horrible. She has only one job to do that is to take care of my baby. Still she fails to do it many times. My baby hand got stuck in lift door and nanny was lost somewhere. If you really need nanny like us during pandemic time please don't consult these guys. Even though I complain many times, there is no action, nanny behaviour remains same.

We were blessed to have nanny Pinky take care of our 8 month old. She is the next generation nanny, more professional, more knowledgeable, more respectful. A genuine heart for children and caring for them. Would highly recommend her and Nanny PRO.
