F	Fiona Audrey Rankine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Centrally located. Dr. Koo is an experienced practitioner. I saw him when I returned from Europe when Covid in early 2020 with respiratory challenges. The protocol he advised made sound sense. Recently with the spike of the Omnicron variant I saw him again on three occasions. The practice is well run and Dr Koo is a voice of measured reason and experience in these panicky times. Waiting time was a little longer on one occasion, a Saturday but it is too be expected and tolerated with grace in these unprecedented times. It is a time when lots of stress in patient load and CovId safety protocols is placed on medical practitioners; patience, understanding and appreciation should by patients would make positive difference.
X	Xyne Jordyn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reception and nurses were really nice and understanding. However the doctor was the deciding factor for me wanting to post a review like this. Basically, I had very bad dry eyes that’s affecting my vision and my headache could have been a result of that. The doctor commented that I could buy eyedrops from the pharmacy or that he could prescribed but it would not be covered by insurance. If eyedrops from pharmacy could have helped, I probably don’t need to see a doctor. And he commented that eye drops are not covered by insurance and I had to pay out of pocket, which clearly isn’t the case when I called up my insurance provider as it is a medical condition. It also felt like he was in a rush to clear the queue. Perhaps in such situation, maybe don’t accept more patients than the ability to handle. Do also show empathy as a doctor. Overall visit was ok, but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
l	lake2 LLC on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Koi was incredibly rude during my visit- I had an emergency work call pop up I had to answer (while he was taking 20 minutes to look up my file on the computer after I had already wanted a half hour to be seen) and he interrupted my call like I was the inconvenience. I had come in for a simple ART, which he somehow made even more painful than a PCR and resulted in a nosebleed. This was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had with a doctor and the only reason I’m leaving a review is so someone else doesn’t have to waste their time and money on him.
M	Martin Plant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn’t have been more helpful with my pre travel covid test. They were busy but staff very professional and managed it well. One nurse went above and beyond to help me with my app vaccine upload. Results came in ahead of time, and the team gave me emails and watsapp contacts in case I had issues. Excellent service, and Dr Koo super friendly!

The doctor was incredibly rude to me and my husband when we went in for a simple ART test which in empty waiting room we still had to wait an hour for. We were told initially that the cost would be $30 (it’s one of those at home tests the government gives you for free) and we walked away having to pay $180 for both of us. I told them that I believed we had been misinformed and that this seemed expensive where he told me “you have your own two feet you can go wherever you want this is what I want to charge” the only ok thing about the clinic is that the women at reception were kind and helpful.

Whilst the clinic was fairly packed with patients when we arrive, it was managed orderly and professionally without confusing queues and waiting zones like other clinics we had previously visited. Dr Koo was particularly attentive and detailed throughout the consultation providing professional advise and treatment procedures. Definitely a doctor that can be trusted for the family!.Thanks Dr Koo, much appreciated for taking care of our family!

People will turn up after me for other matters are attended. Would be great if there is a queue system / numbering system to communicate better to your patients / customer Counter personnel are very patient though

From the delightful interactions with the receptionists, the pleasant and reasonable wait times to the warmness during the consultations with the doctor, I simply enjoy coming to Newcastle clinic.
