Teachers, DO NOT JOIN THIS CENTRE! YOU WILL BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. Parents, read this and decide if you wish to join a centre that treats its teachers so poorly. They deduct $20 per student per month from your pay for each student that withdraws from the class, *even if* the withdrawal isn't due to your incompetence as a teacher. This is also not stated in the contract you initially sign -- it comes in a memo they force you to sign thereafter. This happened to me. A student withdrew due to his own personal timetable clashes and the centre deducted my fee. Emails to both GM Kwang and his wife, Catherine Lim went unanswered. This isn't the only unfair contract term. Another term states that revision lessons MAY be required near exam season, but simultaneously, it also states that it is compulsory for you to conduct them. However, the day, timeslot and number of such lessons are not written in the contract. I was threatened with breaking the contract when I said I couldn't commit to these lessons. Lastly, this place requires you to write monthly student reports on their behaviour and academic progress. Again, this extra work was not stated in the job description in the contract. Similar to the student withdrawal penalty, it appeared in a memo after I signed on.

Worst employer ever. Please be warned about this shady tuition centre. Staff aren't allowed to leave the company or resign even with valid medical reasons, they will ask staff to pay 12k if you break the contract. Such heartless management runned by GM Kwang and wife Ms Lim. Do not patronize this type of business that makes money by cheating employees, Make money but no quality education is provided to students. Parent, you observe your children's performance.
