Phone still cannot get through though .My original post - Can't get through their phone the whole morning. It's either engaged or "Sorry, we are unable to answer your call right now" with no options to return calls

β β β β β Had some software issue on my box, call e hotline and they patiently help me to troubleshoot over the phone and realize itβs e box issue, so I went down to their service center(quite confusing location). The very friendly staff quickly did a check and did a 1-to-1 exchange in the spot and even gave me tips on how to use e box. TQ very much!

β β β β β Second set of DTV box controller cannot use, its not functioning. we exchange 1 before, this is 2nd set still having the same problem. We suspect more units having the same problem as we saw a lot of used(returned) units on the table in their office. Even tho their give a 1 to 1 exchange last time, but it is still a very troublesome process for us to travel all the way down to Ubi area just for exchange a good unit.

β β β β β I bought the dvb t2 tuner box from Sony shop at 313 Somerset on 9 November 2018 but has been having many problems recording Media Corp channels. I have tried using both portable external hard disk and flash drives but after scheduling programs for recording with specific dates starting from 10 November, I find that no programs were recorded as scheduled whether daily or weekly but the recording schedules have been automatically changed to various later dates in December that I did not
set??? I set them for most recent recordings these past few days. I has even initially tested my USB hard drive and flash drive by recording a short part of a program starting a few minutes later via EPG recording but those have no problems. It is recording schedule dates that changed to other future dates the following day without my instructing the set up top box???
I tried to contact the Support phone number on the website twice but nobody picked up the phone. I have sent an email and am still awaiting their reply.
They sent me their upgraded firmware and refreshed the stb as requested. After scheduling one single recording, conflict error messages started popping up when scheduling weekly or daily recordings although times were different.
Am going to Sony 313 Somerset to return the box and buy another item at same or higher price until the company fully tests recording functions and release proper firmware instead of asking customers to do the testing for them!!
My questions and frank comments about these shortcomings of their priducts on their website have also been deleted without notifying me or seeking my consent???!!! All BUYERS SHOULD BEWARE IF BUYING THIS STB WITH INTENT TO SCHEDULE RECORDINGS!

β β β β β I understand that they are the only ORIGINAL supplier to the DTV migration from the government and got to be careful of a lot of fake company claiming to be also supplying to the homes in Singapore, i bought another brand and it spoil within 3 days so i finally receive my free box with free installation from NewMedia. Had some issues but thank you to Nicholas and his team for being so helpful in resolving it within 2 working days. Support local!
