★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very decent bowl of ban mian with nice dry chilli. But the small serving for the price of $4.50 (takeaway +30cents) at this neighbourhood place is quite expensive. The noodle sticks together very quickly. Hope the kitchen can find a way to prevent this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite decent chilli ban mee for 4.50 SGD, the noodle dish is rather clean tasting (don’t feel overly greasy) and the chilli they are giving goes well with dry ban mee. I order the fried pork as a combo, it was quite crispy and delicious. Worth coming back for another time!

I didn’t enjoy the pan mee as much as how I would usually enjoy pan mee.
This is way too spicy for me to handle even though I am a chilli lover. The spicy level overpowered the flavour.
Noodles is al-dente and the portion is small.

Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee is located at a short 3 mins walk away from Tampines West MRT. This eatery serves a decently-sized bowl of chilli pan mee for $5.30. Noodles were springy, chilli was fragrant, yet not overpowering spicy and the minced meat was juicy and fat.
Overall a pleasant discovery, will definitely revisit again when I’m in the area.
