I was a Cadet Leader from Riverside NPCC (Area 13), holding the rank of Staff Sergeant (NPCC). I have been at Camp Resilience twice before, once in Secondary 2 for my Adventure Training Camp and another in Secondary 3 for my Survival Training Camp. Camp Resilience has two campsites: the first is Kampong Bahru, which is the older campsite, and Kampong Noordin, the newer campsite. According to my Area's Assistant Commandant, Bahru has had its fair share of supernatural occurrences but there have not been such occurrences at Noordin. Kampong Noordin is the campsite that NPCC members use more often, as it is easier to access and newer. For example, to get to Kampong Bahru, you would have to get through a swamp in order to enter the campsite, whereas for Noordin, you just have to trek for about 2 kilometres on dry ground from the ferry terminal to get there. The rest of this review will be mainly about Kampong Noordin. When you enter Kampong Noordin, you will see the High Ropes and Advanced Ropes Challenge course on your right. In front of the course is the only toilet in the Noordin campsite for both male and female campers. Outside the toilet, there is a sink for campers to wash their mess tin and utensils after eating. The toilet has four sinks, five urinals, five cubicles with toilet bowls, two cubicles with shower heads in it and an open shower in the middle. A bench is placed in the middle of the toilet for campers to put their toiletries on when they are showering. There are shelters scattered all around the campsite for campers to have their meal at. One shelter can be found near the toilet, another near the logistics post and another near the canteen. The canteen, ironically, is not in use and is instead used as an eating place for Officers and Cadet Inspectors. When it is not mealtime, the canteen is converted into a hall for campers to sit in. There is a sink in the canteen for campers to fill their water bottles with tap water. In front of the canteen is a huge grass patch where tents are built to accommodate campers for the camp and where morning Physical Training is conducted. It is common for ants, bees, wasps and hornets to land on the campers while they're doing PT. The admin blocks are named after the four Singapore Police Force core values: Courage, Loyalty, Integrity and Fairness. The first aid post is housed in one of these blocks and the Officers sleep in other blocks, except the block where the logistics post is housed in, and where the Field Instructors' offices are located. The food served at Camp Resilience varies by camp. For instance, we were given Yammi mee at last year's Adventure Training Camp, but this year, we were given Myojo instant noodles instead. Campers have to cook their own food using mess tins, stoves, solid fuel and matchsticks. Behind the canteen is the campfire ring. This is where the campfire takes place. Behind the campfire ring is the Flying Fox course. The Flying Fox is 7 storeys high. There is a path behind the grass patch that leads to Kampong Bahru. At Kampong Bahru, you will see a store used to house kayaks for kayaking during ATC to your left and the canteen to your right. The canteen is also not in use and is used instead as a hall. The toilet is right after the canteen. Like Noordin, outside the toilet is a sink where campers can fill up their bottles. Inside the toilet, the layout is the same as the toilets from Noordin. Somewhere in Bahru, there is a maze where I have been told that you will be unable to see when you are in it. There is also a Low Elements challenge course somewhere near Bahru, although I forgot where.

A camp exclusively for npcc cadets. I am a npcc cadet as well and I did say the facilities there are good.

a really nice place with the nature feeling, especially when you have campfire and all those stars on the sky at night, it's a picturesque scenery and one that you will never forget and would like to visit again. that place is so wonderful even words can't describe it.
