Visited last weekend with a friend after reading much reviews about this hidden cafe. Google maps didn’t help so we burnt some calories walking aimlessly round the estate. It was worth the walk to explore this hipster community. We ordered waffle and crofflato (croffle and gelato) with maple syrup instead (top up a dollar). The waffle hits the right notes with a pleasant buttery scent and it was crispy edge to edge (not hard). When you cut through it, you see the piping hot smoke coming out from the moist batter. I tried it neat. It tasted neutral, light and fluffy with a hint of saltiness. And something I noticed… there isn’t a taste of ‘flour’ like most waffle I tried. Then I proceeded to mop up the melting gelato and it soaked up the flavours where the gelato takes centre stage. On the waffle, our first scoop was Raspberry Cheesecake. This one was very ‘Gao’ and it felt like eating a cheesecake for real! The other scoop was a premium flavour. Bergamot Orange. This is the fruit that gives you the perfume smell of earl grey tea. It’s tea-lightful I must say cos the it uses the orange to balance with the complex flavour of Bergamot. My fren tried and she tasted the orange first. Let’s move on to Croffle, a fav street food snack in Korea. We saw the pastry being pressed on the waffle machine and then it was followed by a freshly baked croissant aroma. It’s chewy and tastes like the real thing but your eyes cannot believe that it’s shaped like a waffle! I like the maple syrup. Actually it will be nice to have a choice of the sauces. The scoop on the Croffle was Lychee Rose Raspberry. It’s Lychee season and I just had them at home and tasting this really reminded me of the refreshing and juicy fruit and balanced off with a hint of tangy sour Raspberry. Coffee was good. You can’t go wrong with PPP beans. Actually I like the coffee although my feels that balance was off. There’s a lot to soak in here at the cafe. From the desserts to the thoughtful design of the cafe and to the plants. It does elevate your senses and people watching is also part of the experience here. Will come again to try out their other creative menu.

It was a shame I didn’t noticed the opening of the cosy, thoughtfully design ice cream/coffee place, until I took a evening stroll. Not to mention the tasty ice cream. Tried the mixed berries for the little one and cereal milk myself. Both are great! This shall be a frequent affair moving forward!

I was introduced to this little nook after dinner by a friend. Situated in the old HDB block in Everton park, the spanking new ice cream parlour shines like a beautiful star in its pastel decor with lots of plants. The interior merged the outside with the indoors via clever placement of glass panels and a tall table. There are 3 tables to sit a party of 4, a winding tall table that could easily accommodate 8, plus another that could sit 3 on high chairs. Overall, it’s a cozy place. There’s a good selection of ice cream flavours, with a few special ones to surprise your taste buds. I ordered a scoop of Pu Ju ice cream with waffles. Pu Ju is a mixture of the Chinese tea Pu’er and Jü hua (chrysanthemum), and I was told it’s one of the favourites. Love the flavour, and the texture and creaminess was just right. They also sell these deliciousness in tubs, so that you can bring them home with you. The waffles were done perfectly, with crunchy bits on the outside while staying fluffy and yummy on the inside. Looking forward to revisit and try other flavours.

A beautiful place for ice cream and coffee. Interesting home made flavours. Decor is very welcoming and they have a green corner too. Toilet is a must to visit for plants lovers!

Really really difficult to come to this place as it is hidden between many hdb blocks, doenst help when GMaps is not very helpful/ sensitive with the directions. That aside, this place is BEAUTIFUL ? not many seats but the whole vibe of this place is so comforting. Came on a Saturday mid-afternoon and there is a steady stream of people coming in and out. Seats still available. Crowd starts pouring in at 5pm. Water is complimentary upon request at the counter. ? Waffles is crispy and good for sharing. Chocolate sauce does feel like a great treat~ ? Ice cream variety was a plenty and scoops were not measly. Matcha Latte was pretty solid and creamy. Iced Latte was abit too milky in my opinion. But both value for $ and volume. Total bill came to be ~$29

Amazing gelato! Headed there with my friends and had a hard time choosing between all the flavours. We ended up with black sesame and cereal milk. Gelato was really smooth, amazing flavours and not too sweet. Waffles smelled heavenly and tasted great too! Will definitely be back to try other flavours!

Certainly a happy place as its name implied. You can tell that the owners (husband and wife) spent a lot of efforts designing and decorating this place. They have some rare collections of plants proudly displayed at the cafe, added a refreshing feel when you are there. Coffee was good and so was the ice cream. Great place to unwind on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
