The shop is location along Thomson road. Easily accessible via TEL, and alight at Thomson Plaza station. Came purposely to try their coffee after lunch. Surprisingly, there were no Q today and we managed to get a table indoor. We order 2 of their specialty coffee, Piccolo which is strong but not acidic come with a nutty flavour and a white with a smooth light texture, milder coffee smell. We didn’t try their food, but looking at the presentation does make me a little hungry. I will come for the food in my next visit.

I love coffee. I had Oaks white coffee (nutty espresso) 2 weeks ago and loved it, I had to have more. So here I was 2 weeks later, drove down just for another taste of this delicious coffee (the fruity espresso this time). I love rich coffee and this fit the bill of strong tasting with clear notes (not some pure milk nonsense!!) I will be back Oaks!!!

Decent coffee and truffle fries but prices are pretty steep. Taste wise, nothing peculiar but isn’t bad. But service is good. Located around the upper Thomson belt of cafes, it takes the spot of Habitat Coffee. Traffic is horrible and parking spaces are limited, good luck haha.

Very nicely decorated cafe. Through the hanging mirrors you can see what the barista does! The food is presented very nicely and I would say tastes as good as they look. While a bit on the pricier side the decent service ambience and food quality makes it worth it. The drip coffees are nicely done and the oat milk houjicha latte is very nice. Would come and chill or meet a friend here.

Their big breakfast had a few interesting ingredients compared to the ones you usually eat in other cafes. Their beans are crunchy, mash potatoes filled with truffle, topped with creamy scrambled eggs, sprockets and mushrooms. Their spring roll is really filling and quite savoury. Coffee tastes okay.

This place is nicely done up and great ambiance. The truffle fries are recommended. The laksa risotto was unusual with a dollop of ice cream. The short ribs was good but quite small portion. The mushroom truffle pasta was salty. Overall the pricing is too high and needs to be adjusted.

New cafe in Thompson. Food is definitely on the pricier end, but can’t comment much since we only came for a snack plate of fries that were of standard. Coffees were decent. Ambience and setting is minimal, in between of modern and rustic. Staff are generally well-mannered, no qualms. Happy to come back for coffee time again ? (although I might have to re-evaluate after visiting the rest around the area first)

A beautifully designed cafe with statement distressed mirror pieces and textured walls. Cozy and noisy at times. We loved the counter seats. Specialty drinks were creative and refreshing, especially the Hojicha Lemonade. Mala Hokkaido pork dumplings were super tender and fresh, but a little pricey. Overall a pleasant experience, but the price point makes it only an occasional visit.
