Other than him, I would also want to shout out to the friendly and helpful seller for making my home buying experience so pleasant. Really appreciated! Disclaimer - He's not my agent, I'm the buyer while he was the seller agent. He was straight forward with expectation about pricing and process. As I'm a first time buyer without an agent, I had knowledge gap which he had helped answered. Throughout the process, he would travel and make things easier for me and passed relevant information for my understanding.

Richmond has been helpful throughout the entire process of the sale of my property. He has been patient with my requirements and also helped me secure a good deal. Will definitely recommend him and thumbs up for his service!

We had liased with Douglas from OMH with the intention to purchase a property. However most of the time he is not picking up his mobile phone and not returning call after many hours. End up we had to call the general office number to request for a return call. When he returned call, he questioned why the need to call his office to ask for return call. Over this incident, friction has been caused, end up didn't transact any deals through him.

We just completed the sale of our HDB with ohmyhome as our agent. I will give my honest review here of my experience with my agent (whom I will not name explicitly). Pros: - Filtered off buyers who would not meet our criteria - Negotiated a reasonable deal for us quite quickly Cons: -Unprofessional. During the day for videoing of our home (marketing), agent was a no-show and radio-silence for close to half an hour until we took the initiative to find out what was going on. Turns out it was a 'family emergency'. We had cleared our schedule and tidied our home to ensure the videoing would be smooth. Had to strongly suggest to them to send someone down instead if he could not make it. Why a simple courtesy message or call could not have been given to us is beyond us. - Not knowledgeable. This agent did not even know the facing of our home when asked by a potential buyer. A core piece of information like this should be at the back of a good agent's hand. - Unethical. Our agent went behind our back to bring forward the completion date by 2 weeks (i.e. did not consult us at all). We had negotiated a 3months extension to our property, so bringing it forward would mean less time for us to stay in our (sold) property and less time to renovate/move into our new one. As everyone knows, in these pandemic times, every single week matters in renovation/moving. While he/she may say it is an accidental omission, the fact is this is earlier cash flow for the company/earlier commission reeks of unethical behaviour. -More interested in selling property than helping us find a new one. We had also engaged same said agent in finding us a new property. It was pretty obvious that he/she was far less on the ball, less meticulous and less engaged when it came to finding a new property for us. To top it off, all his/her recommendations were easily found (in advance) by us through our own searches on propertyguru. We can only surmise it's due to lesser commissions gained by them when buying a property (co-broking). So in conclusion. Ohmyhome can deliver on their core promise of selling your home. But if I had a choice to do so again, I would avoid them.
