β β β β β 1st time head there for lunch. Have quite good range of drinks.
Good also pretty good. If have chance, will go there for lunch/dinner, as I've only tried out 4 dishes, sweet potatoes, padthai, fried eggs and tofu.

β β β β β The location is good, with parking lot nearby. The restaurant does not have any special decoration, really local. The portion is super large, which is a bit a waste for me. The waitress is very nice. The taste is authentic, and it is an affordable neighborhood restaurant.

β β β β β Staff is very welcoming and friendly.
Unfortunately, the price of the dishes are rather costly.
In addition, the Garlic squid uses frozen squid rings instead of fresh squids, which is rather disappointing.

β β β β β Came here on a Thursday evening and it wasn't packed. We ordered the Ayam Buah Kulak, Crispy Chinchalok Omelette, and Nyonya Chap Chye. They were all SO flavourful, delightful, and a great introduction to the peranakan palette. Service was fast. I would highly recommend!

β β β β β Big portions and nice chilli sauce.
I had
1. Chinchalok omelette - this dish is usually oily in many places, but the oil taste was strong here which made it difficult to eat more.
2. Ayam ponteh rice - the taste is ok, but would be nice if atam ponteh is served hotter.
3. Spinach soup

β β β β β Best dishes of the day were the fried egg and chap chye and the chilli. The beef rendang was a bit bit tough while the ayam buah kulek was not the best around as the gravy was too sweet for my liking. $32 per person for 4 dishes and 4 drinks. Maybe on the pricey end?

β β β β β Dishes are tasting but I found they use a tad too much sugar. The curry prawn has thick gravy but tasted almost like Thai curry with generous serving of prawns. The sweet potato leaves is also too sweet. Fried omelette was good and portion was big. Other than that, itβs very pricey, $16 for sweet potato leaves, $22 for the ayam buah keluak without the nut which is charge separately at $1.50 per piece just to give you and idea. Ample parking in the public car park diagonally across the road.
