One of the few 24-hour eateries along Joo Chiat Road. If you are cycling around the area late at night or early in the morning, this could be a nice spot to chill. The Roti Prata is okay, the mutton curry that is served along with the prata is flavourful and doesn't have a strong mutton taste.

I was charged $8 for a normal portion of normal tasting chicken briyani and $1 for a packet of popadums. I expect to pay these prices or more in town but not at my local coffee shop!

GREAT breakfast prata roti. Really solid biryani (I had both chicken and lamb) with excellent sauce offering balanced spice that stays with you a little while but doesn’t burn you down. Good service. Lovely soft drinks too (and you can get them without sugar if you ask).

Bryani is really nice and big portion, not dry. Service is fast and staff are friendly. As we cannot dine in, hope to try their pratas in the next visit.

Decent Late night food place. Usually crowded. Bee Hoon Goreng not bad, 3.5/ 5, ikan bliss was there but the noodles need more seasoning for taste. The star are the Prata, had a mutton filled murtabak. 4/5 decent minced mutton meat and crispy edges. Tip: ask for the fish curry( it’s spicy) as the default given is dah curry (non spicy), a spoonful of each together kinda is the way we like to eat it:) We paid 16 for our orders and drinks.

Good place to satisfy hunger pangs and prata cravings especially in the middle of the night. The prata is crispy, and satisfying. The curry is just nice, with the right spices to bring out the delicious taste of the prata. Prices are very reasonable.

Teh Tarik is OK but I just can’t forgive places that try to sell thosai then tell you “chutney finished”. The coconut chutney is an integral accompaniment to Thosai. No chutney… don’t sell thosai. ? Time was 9+pm so not exactly a late hour.

This is our go-to for great Prata and Nasi Briyani which is a short walk from our home, at the junction of Joo Chiat Road and Duku Road. Our usual order for 3 pax is: Prata - 2 telur, 1 kosong Nasi briyani ayam 2 teh halia kurang manis, a bandung 2 packets of papadum Today we added a mutton curry as the hubs felt like having it. Their Prata is not the fried to ultra crispy type like some other places but softer. While their Nasi Briyani is not dum briyani but cooked separately basmati rice and you pick whatever meat with it, example mutton or chicken. This Nasi briyani is good for kids who don’t like to have their rice mixed with the curry/sauce as the rice may look spicy to them. Teh halia is usually flavorful with enough spice but on one or two occasions we had teh halia that tasted flat and watered down … we told them and they changed it promptly but unfortunately the taste only improved slightly. We determined that this uncle who made the teh that day was not so good in his teh making skills and made a mental note not to order it when he is on drinks duty ? It was a satisfying meal as usual and the costs came up to $24.50.
