โ โ โ โ โ Just wanna highlight an incident that happened to me few days back.
I bought a total order of $5.40 but the cashier told me it was $6.40. I thought my mental calculations was wrong so I paid her $6.40. I was abit doubtful (and I'm not sure why the cash register display at this outlet is always not that visible), so I asked for receipt (this outlet usually don't provide receipt unless you ask). And my receipt showed $5.40.
Immediately I showed it to the cashier and asked her about it. She just give a weird answer that the sum reflected on her end of the cash register is $6.40 so that's why she collected $6.40 from me. Then she said since the receipt showed $5.40 she will return the $1 to me. I really don't understand how the figure on her end will be different from whats printed on the receipt. I'm sure it's the same system or it's linked so the figure can't vary.. right?
Anyways, I'll be sure to ask for receipt from now on whenever I visit this outlet.

โ โ โ โ โ Really suck! Deducted twice of the transactions and the cashier still insisted only one. Hey, the bank has confirmed that you have deducted twice and the charges reflected in my statement. Write to Old Chang Kee and no reply yet. Is this how to do business and to scam the customers?

โ โ โ โ โ Conveniently located just outside the MRT station. Love their food! must get the curry puffs. Chicken wings and sotong is nice too. In the morning they sell mee siam, porridge, nasi lemak for takeaway.
