★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a beautiful colorful old building. The history of Singapore that this building saw. The police officers and their families lived in this building in the old days. Some excellent art work and galleries in the lower floors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A building with probably the most character and history in downtown Singapore. The colourful shutters are visually striking and in stark contrast with the dull grey granite architecture.
Once the colonial police headquarters, now it's home to a handful of social youth and family outreach offices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the must visit SG landmarks .
This historical building is beside Clark quay. Its mandarin name is classical and old school.
Thus building and former police station has 900+ colorful windows. It was set up in 1934.
From the artitecture style, one can tell the Choi Hung estate style is really nothing to SG travelers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw this on a walking tour of Singapore back in early March. This landmark building used to be a police station and jail, but it's now government office. It's hard to imagine it's former use with its neoclassical architecture and colourfully painted windows. If you're visiting Fort Canning or the equally pretty Central Fire Station nearby, it's worth a detour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This eye catching building is a police station turned government office. In the day, you’ll be lured by the colorful shutters and white building. In the night, the building lights up, and the colors are accentuated by the orangey spot lights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly one of the most heartless building management around. There was an injured cat at the building and security insisted on chasing us away instead of letting us attend to the injured animal. When asked if they would want the cat to get knocked down by vehicles as the road is nearby, the old man had the gall to say that’s not his business. I was NOT trespassing in the building.
