Best Hawker stall in Singapore

T	Tan CH on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time visited the store. Foods are very nice and appetizing especially the sambal prawns.price is very reasonable as the prawns are quite big and very fresh. The store owner is very friendly and generous with the amount of gravy and dish when i taopao a few packets.Will visit again with my family.

Even got to meet the boss of Old School Canteen, thoroughly recommend a visit to Changi Village to give this one a try!

The real sambal prawns/ sotong. The real nasi lemak rice and not using Basmati rice which is usually dry. Price is reasonable and portion are very generous. Thank you Ross

Sambal cuttlefish is sedap, I don’t find it in other nasi lemak stalls. Generous serving per portion. Best nasi lemak I’ve eaten since a long time. I’ll be back to try the Sambal prawns which looks nice and I’m sure will be nice too as the boss chef loves cooking. Chatting with the friendly and generous boss makes the whole experience a throughly enjoyable one.

Like the many different stalls there, they offered many different sets. Whats set this stall apart from the other stall is that they offer dishes like sambal prawn, and cuttlefish. I choose the set with sambal cuttlefish. Rice was fragrant but was cold somehow. Chicken wing has good flavour but unfortunately it was very tough. Sambal cuttlefish was not bad. what a pity, would have been a good plate of Nasi Lemak.
