Omni Theatre - 21 Jurong Town Hall Rd

Last been here was when i was in secondary school. So fast forward 20 years brought my son to experiemce it. He is in awe watching the screen. Probably can project a better show and more entertaining for the kids. Its like watching a big screen National Geography.

Always a great place to go. The enormous screen size makes it a wonderful experience to view the shows. Shows listed have always been great and educational. Worth bringing your kids to go!

The visualisation of the CMB Cosmic Microwave Background is nice, although 99% of the general public won't understand this.

Was there for the Sea Lion. Spectacular showcase of thr Austrialian sea lion families and the dedication of the caregivers Marine Park Ranger for their devotion to protecting the Sea Lions species and their offspring from extinction. Great show to recommend to todders learning the way of animal instinct and protection and introduce them to animal Sea lion worlds.

QUEUE: No queue, because you have to purchase tickets. BOUGHT: Omni theatre tickets using SRV. !! Need to purchase to access Omni Theatre !! ACTIVITY: Watched the Dinosaurs of Antarctica OVERALL: Yep, seat was comfortable, if you find the right seat of course. Meh, too boring for my whole fam. Most of us slept haha. Find the best seat or else your whole body will find tiring and your eyes will be painful. I sat seats infront of the middle and it's quite uncomfortable. I had to bend my whole back backwards so eventually I sat higher up and it was very a good seat. REVISIT: Nope, unless they changed it to a cool film like adventure/action related to science, this will be exciting for 45mins.

Went here in the evening for star gazing session. Outside may look closed due to no light but it's actually open. Book session and tickets from website, slots limited. Theatre is free seating so come early if want to seat together, beat seats are at the middle, center of the theater near the aisle around row F. Great experience for kids.

Brought my kids here for the sea lion show. To be honest, with so many documentaries available online, we are now spoil by choices of the many documentaries available. This is rather slow and not so interesting. My kids felt bored and uninterested. The seats and screen are no longer an unique experience given there are so many other 3D/VR experiences that one can get outside.

Screen covers almost your entire view which provides an immersive experience but the 40 min dinosaur documentary show is just really too boring. Screen image is not as sharp or high resolution enough. Aircon is too warm for comfort. Sound system is below average. Rather disappointed compared to my first visit many years ago.
