β β β β β Seems like they are short staffed during these trying times of covid. Plus because we were not the primary customers of the yakitori shop next door (sister company),food took so long to come that we were too hungry to enjoy it to the fullest. The thought of reordering was quickly banished at the thought that we may have to wait another half hour or more.

β β β β β Hands down one of the best sake bars in Singapore. Small intimate setting with bar counter seats and an amazingly well stocked sake fridge just behind you for easy selection.
Special shout out for the food as well, the skewers from Shirokane next door were mind-blowing, with the juicy chicken hearts easily being the best Iβve tried locally. Do give the oden a shot as well which has an authentic array of items.
Only small gripe would be the food waiting time (which could be improved) and the prices which are slightly on the high side.
Will be back for sure!

β β β β β One of the best place in Singapore to get Sake! This is a bar which you can come in and stand, mingle and enjoy the entire night. And the operators are a dear friend, who has kindly allowed me to use the place for a TV interview, to showcase my sake glasses collection.

β β β β β Summary: Won't visit again.
Pro: Famous for their oden which was reasonably tasty. Orders came faster (10-20 mins) than expected even during peak Friday dinner timing. Staff was generally quite pleasant and fast in taking orders.
Con: Utterly uncomfortable outdoor seating in high wooden tables where you have no way of sitting properly due to a wooden ledge below the table that blocks your leg from extending forward. Although it's alright if you like standing to eat or drink. Yakitoris are slightly overpriced compared to the taste, though you do pay more for the location.
Neutral: Signature chicken don was so-so. Yakitori taste nothing special.
Tips: You can probably request for the outdoor low table seatings.

β β β β β Along with Oriharaβs massive collection of Sake, here we can also enjoy Japanese premium beer and dedicated Japanese cuisine including Yakitori, Itawasa, and so on. I love this place.

β β β β β This was a good place, lots of sake and Japanese dishes to try. It's pretty no-frills but has a good vibe of a real Japanese place. I like the fact that they offer sake flights as well, that way you get to try a nice variety of things. I'd definitely recommend it.
