β β β β β SERVICE:
Celebrated our birthdays here with a friend. Extremely friendly and attentive service. Not sure what the 1 star reviews are about. Manager was very personable.
FOOD:
Good quality primary cuts. I recommend the tenderloin steak, very well marbled. Sirloin was a little too fat for my liking.
We tried all the slices. The tare killed the meat taste. Preferred them with salt, pepper and Wasabi.
The dish that surprised me the most was the beef udon. Clear soup but super flavourful! Should give a whole egg tho...
Potato salad was also great ! Good texture, can add more bacon for more depth.
VALUE:
Portion size can be bigger. $860 for 4 adults and 1 baby.
I'll come back again if there's another major celebration!

β β β β β Great steak! Maybe it was the occasion, but I enjoyed the food today, so did my wife.
Don't be mistaken by the name "Steak & Hamburg", MASA is the keyword, because it isn't really done like American steak, but prepared in the Japanese way.
My wife had a char grilled prime ribeye, medium rare. It was well marbled, and melted in the mouth.
I had the char grilled pork chop, which was tender and the seasoning was just right. I loved it.
We added a masa salad, which balanced out the meal nicely.
Give it a try. There are other items that I would love to try on my next visit!

β β β β β The steak here is without a doubt the best I had so far. Pictures here show the grilled wagyu rump (1st pic) and sirloin (2nd and 3rd pics).

β β β β β Lovely place for romantic dinner and their Ichibo steak is the best mix of fatty meat. Service was great! They prepared a slice of cake and candle at the last min upon my request.

β β β β β Excellent place for Japanese wagyu steak lovers. We ordered an appetiser of beef tataki, and a Hamburg + Ichibo steak for the two of us and we are very satisfied and full. The steak cut is flavourful on its own, but the condiments add another layer to it which we will find ourselves coming back for in future. The new burnt cheesecake (not in menu) is amazing as the sea salt cuts through the heaviness that sometimes come with cheesecake. We truly enjoyed our meal here!

β β β β β This is definitely one of my go to restaurant for a great Wagyu steak or a yummy hamburg steak! This restaurant serves a relatively small menu as compared to many others, as namesake - steaks and hamburg steaks, on top of some rice dishes and few selection of salads to choose from. 2 of us shared an order of their sirloin steak (medium) with a good sizzle of burnt fats but not overly oily. The sirloin is done really well that is tender to bite into and gave that βmelt-in-your-mouthβ texture. An order of Caesar salad with wonderful bacon bits with some cheddar on the top. The salad has a good amount of dressing which is not too overwhelming (like some other restaurants). We also order a small bun from a partnerβs bakery that is served with olive oil but I chose to eat it with my all time favourite-butter instead. We also ordered a side - sautΓ©ed corn. And another main highlight of our dinner, apart from the wonderful sirloin steak, is the Yukke, masa style beef tartare! This is definitely one of the best tasting beef tartare Iβve eaten in many restaurants, locally and overseas! For those who donβt usually dare eat raw beef, I must say, try it.
Reservation is definitely recommended.

β β β β β MASA looks very expensive on the outside but once you enter, you donβt feel like youβre dining in Singapore.
The place is very cosy with soft jazz in the background and so perfectly lighted that you start to lose youβre self in its ambience.
The menu has a mix of steaks and hamburgers. Since they were out of hamburgers, we ordered a steak to share and some appetisers.
Needless to say, we enjoyed every bite of every dish.
A must try if you love food meat and a prefect place to have a cocktail or silent stronger while you have a bite to eat and chat with your partner or friends!
