My fiance’s spec frame broke and there happened to be an owndays in the same building. We immediately found a replacement within 5 minutes and also had the lens transferred over in 5 minutes with a discount. They even followed up with great service in making sure the specs fit well. Amazing!

Frame turned yellow and rusty in 6 months. Went back to ask the staff but he say it is algae and cannot be exchanged. Decided to share to warn others about this model. Otherwise the service is good.

TLDR: Please be careful when handing over your spectacles for any repair work or nose tip support replacement. Do observe the staff as they are working with your spectacles or take pictures of your spectacles condition before handing it over. Please check the condition of your spectacles before leaving the store. Owndays appears to be quick in refusing responsibility for negligence when there is an opportunity to after purchase. ------ I had my spectacle lenses accidentally scratched by a staff member who was working to replace my nose tip supports. Owndays did not investigate the issue thoroughly claiming it is due to gradual wear and tear, choosing to offer a $20 discount on a next purchase instead. This is dangerous for your consumer protection whenever you hand your spectacles over to their care as they appear to be quick in refusing responsibility when there is an opportunity to after purchase. How they handle the investigation and concerns of the customer is poor (in my pov as a customer). For transparency to provide a fair review, here are details below for your future reference if you are in a similar case: - Owndays requested me to head down to the branch to speak with the Store manager. - Store manager took approx 3 minutes and had a brief look at my lenses. 2 colleagues joined in who spent about 10 seconds looking at the lenses under a light. - Store manager immediately concluded that this was possibly due to gradual wear and tear. He offers a 20$ discount. - He requested for my glasses to be sent for inspection. I am unable to as this is my only working pair. We settled on sending in pictures instead. - I am informed via call and Whatsapp that it has been decided that the lenses are damaged due to wear and tear. I offer to go down to any inspection office for more investigation to be done with my glasses, but Owndays says that the "management decision is final". More context and details of damage: Please refer to the picture which shows the microscratches done by either vigorous rubbing of cloth on the spectacles or dislodged dirt/debris from the rims of the glasses which scratches the lenses when the spectacles are wiped by cloth. I highlighted an area with a black circle to indicate that I'm not talking about accidental scratches on the lens but a complete blurring of my lenses due to vigorous rubbing of cloth whilst the lens is dirty. This has resulted in me seeing everything in a haze especially in lighted areas in the dark. I have previously damaged my lenses of another pair of spectacles in this way, which is why I know that such a situation can happen. It is my mistake to have left the glasses in the complete care of a staff member without my observation, I’m also sure the staff member did not intend to damage the lenses and no blame is attributed to the staff. Whilst the Store manager's conclusion might be correct that it is due to wear and tear, the lack of investigations into the cause of the issue is what alarms me. I have 3 glasses from Owndays over the span of at least 7 years and have had no previous complaint cases until this one.

Picked up my glasses today. 1. Derek checked my eyes for me earlier and he is very professional and customer friendly. 2. Ashley served me immediately when I entered the shop and also a thumbs up for customer service. This is my third pair of glasses made her ever since this brand opened their first shop in Sg. Hope they continue for many years in Sg.

Went here to change my nosepad for my newly bought spec, i thought it was faulty bc it kept sliding off from my nose. Arriving there, i was greeted by the staff and i told them about the issue. They're very professional, both in attitude and quick decision making. I thought it was the nose pad faulty but it's actually the frame issue. So the staff immediate adjust the handle and voila! Everything is just in place ? great experience. Will comeback if i got any issue in the future ?
