The freshness you can taste (and have to wait for). Everything is simply cooked but because it’s fresh, the taste is different from (and better than) other famous Nasi Lemak places, the chili from Changi Village and Adam food center are still better though. Try come early before lunch, the first time we came here to try at late lunch hours the stall was closed, and I can only imagine the queue is even longer at noon.

the rice is in green colour and the taste is good. I didnt try the chicken wing but it shall be ok to try. we went on tuesday lunch time and there's less people. the sauce is not in red but abit orange colour, so it's less spicy but abit sweet for me. they also sell curry puff.

The fried chicken is nice and juicy though on the smaller size. It’s very economical that for $3.50 you get a meat, an egg, peanuts and anchovies. However I didn’t fancy the rice with mushy texture and coconut flavour quite like. Also the chilli is not spicy. As other said, abit like Chinese Nasi lemak So if you Wan to try non spicy Nasi lemak. This is it. And yes there’s a queue even on weekdays

Famous #NasiLemak in Yishun. Chilli is sweet, and their #Begedil is made manually. Decent, but not the best. Pricing is affordable. Paid $6 for 2 chicken wings, 2 eggs, 1 hotdog, 1 fishcake, ikan bilis and peanuts.

Its ok only. No cucumber. Rice a bit soft maybe cause I take away. Sambal is sweet not spicy. I dont understand people raving about it. Maybe they never taste a good nasi lemak before. I give it a five out of 10.

A favorite since I was a child. Delicious and value for money. My usual order with double chicken wing costs less than $5. The sweet sambal (Indonesia style?) is relatively unusual compared to the norm. Only downside is that the coffeeshop is quite small, so you will probably need to takeaway most of the time.

Grew up eating this and the standard is still the same as ever. The rice is always soft and fluffy. Chilli is on the sweeter side and must must must ask for more chilli to fully enjoy the whole meal. Fish is easy to eat and not dry! Chicken is okay, great when its piping hot but when cold it becomes tough so do eat it immediately. Always add Begedil! Love this, veryyyy yummy. Have it there or dabao come also equally good.

Their rice was fluffy and there was a strong coconut+pandan aroma, which I liked it very much. The chilli sauce is sweet and not spicy. I’ve also added on fishcake and begedil but the portion was so small. Chicken wing was tasty and flavourful but the winner here for me was still the rice. ?
