H	Hwa Kwan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights. Surprised by the overall ambience and quality of the hotel. Superb location as its strategically located above Clarke Quay MRT, and beside the Central Mall. Plenty of food and night-life venues just by crossing a bridge over the Singapore River. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were attentive and friendly.

We also tried dinner on the first night which was very good. Hotel was quiet despite location (very close to Clark Quay). Curtains very effective so no problems with noise or light pollution. Although we booked a room for 3 people everything was set out for 2 and we had to remind them several times (insufficient pillows, glasses, toilet paper and other essentials). Room was very poorly lit and air conditioning whist very effective was too aggressive and could not be turned down (so room was freezing overnight). Overall would rebook with this hotel.

It is in a great location right next to Clarke Quay riverside and Clarke Quay Central shopping centre with plenty of food options. It is also a walking distance away to Chinatown with even many more culinary treats to indulge in. The hotel facility itself is excellent. The large swimming pool has a separate kids pool area with slides, perfect for a family like us. Breakfast is delightful with delicious local and western options. And most remarkably the staff in Paradox Merchant Court are all very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay!
P	Piyush Mishra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location of hotel is very good, facilities and services are good. We had a very pleasant stay with family. Room service has to be improved and it was unavailable after 10PM most of the time, also breakfast option has to be increased to cover multinational guests.

The reviews prior to our visit were mixed and i was worried but it was just perfect. Its now a Paradox hotel, and I think post covid and takeover its all running back up to speed again. Thank you to all the divine staff.

The food variety and quality was good. It was a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. Wished we had extended one more night so that we could savour more of the good vibes ;)

The rooms were clean, the only down side being they did not change the towels regularly unless you left them outside the bathroom (even if you put them on the bathroom floor they would just hang them up for you). The bed was decent, but the pillows were not very good and the lighting in the rooms was dark.
