β β β β β The place is cheap but fine. Outside you can sit and chit-chat with friends and family. 7-11 is close by. And the bus stand too. Service is Satisfactory. And the receptionist are quite well behaved and sincere. Had a nice stay at the hotel.

β β β β β Anyplace else in the world this would be a 20dollar a night "hotel". In Singapore it's 110dollars.
I added a star. Now 2. I love it when an establishment's behavior changes my mind. They did replace the shower head, shower curtain, and bed linens when asked. The management was exceptionally sweet and engaging.

β β β β β Love the retro vibe. Nice location, no loud noises. Amenities are complete. Love the free breakfast. It is not a buffet spread, only simple meal like fried noodles, toast bread with jam, and coffee and tea.
