Strict working environment. Company that makes use of personal before letting them go fast.

Came across this company, saw the reviews and wanted to also share my thoughts. I’ve worked here for more than a year, seen enough people come and go, and got to experience the challenge of working in a small environment with tight managements. To start off with the cons, this is a place that prioritize clients over staffs, which most companies does and not a surprise. However because of the small team, it does create internal doubts and politics regularly. The pair of leaders have very different ways of managing and it can be confusing to follow instructions especially when they argue. Staffs are not allowed to talk back or would be punished by scolding and occasionally screaming. The most crucial part would be the amount of micro management done at this place, office is extremely small and everyone sits around a large table, with one smaller table (instead of room) overlooking the whole team, it sounds nice but lots of unseen pressure accumulates over time. This seat fits just one leader, while the other would constantly circle around the table to monitor the staffs, you are not allowed to chat using the computer, surf websites or do anything for leisure, using phones will also be asked, the only breaks allowed is smoking. Extremely tense and stressful environment, I got depressed and sick after a period of time. The pros. I’d honestly say that aside from work, the leaders do sincerely care and listen to your concerns, with the exceptions that it is not related to how they manage the company. There are empathy shown even if it isn’t obvious. They do not criticize your work unfairly, and provides chances to learn and improve. The best thing about the company is they pay fairly and usually on time. Even though my medical condition is still present after years, I’ve learned a lot from this place and find it helpful to build up better tolerance in future experiences. All the best!
