PC Geeks Pte Ltd - 1 Rochor Canal Rd

Recently my laptop crashed and could not start. I was anxious to get it fixed and i went down to sim lim to get it fixed. I can only say that i was careless to have it fixed by Pc Geeks. Iwas told that the motherboard had to be repaired. After leaving my laptop there, i read up about the shop on past customer experiences of getting ripped off and lied to. After that, i quickly went back in hopes of retrieving my laptop which i managed to do so two days after i left it there. When retrieving the laptop, i requested to get my hard drive back to back up first. At that moment,i was told a different story stating that the problem lies with my hard drive and not the motherboard. But still i managed to get my laptop back. After that i decided to play it safe by bringing it to a shop which had a sound reputation and good service. I passed my laptop to them for repair and after 4-5 days, i was told that it was beyond repair. The assistant told me that such cases were seldom and asked if i had previously repaired it at a separate store. At that moment, i realised that PC Geeks had indeed tampered with my laptop. I hope that people would be careful never to patronise this store at all. I was lucky since my HDD was fine and that my laptop was already dying out. Please do be aware of this shop and never let yourself be a victim.
