Sorry for the bad quality photo as these were take-aways. Ordered the soup mee hoon kuey and the dry ban mian. Both are delicious. Especially for the dry ban mian. The dressing sauce is very balanced. The handmade noodle texture is soft and mildly al dente. The dry chili condiment is also outstanding - you can tell it is freshly made everyday (according to owner) with a captivating fragrance of good quality dried shrimps. I have tried the different ban mian stalls in this area and I think this is the best so far. Highly recommended

Best dry chili ban mian in Singapore. I don’t think any other place does ban mian that taste better than handmade pasta. Always order large dry ban mian and add lots of the hei bee hiam chili. Then confirm don’t need go any other stall in Singapore already. Service can take a while but it’s mainly because every bowl of noodles is literally made-to-order and that’s also why the noodles are so good.

Chance upon this stall inside the koung’s wanton mee coffeeshop that sells ban mian and some other assorted items like satay. This was actually my 2nd time coming here, however, they were closed the very first time I was here. Came back yesterday and was glad that they were open. There was any queue but can tell that they were busy preparing the satays. The noodle comes in both soup and dry and prices starts from SGD$4.50 onwards. Ordered their dry you mian, it comes with a poached egg, some minced pork, fried anchovies, and garnish with fried shallots. As for the chili you can add yourself. Its quite filling as they were quite generous with the noodle. Chili was not too bad, quite spicy for me. Would not recommend you add too much. Sauce for the noodle was well balance too. The bowl of noodle also came with a small bowl of soup which is not too bad either. Overall, one of the better KL dry ban mian that I have tried in Spore so far.

Food is absolutely amazing! Wanted to eat famous ban mian nearby but they are closed on Monday. $5 for so much liao and handmade noodle. Take note this a 1 man running shop so waiting time will be long but be assured he serve really good bowl of mee and he is very kind too.
