Pet Lovers Centre

Great shop to shop in! It has a wide range variety of products to choose from. Since Christmas is coming they have also a Christmas on sale promotion so I can buy for my furry friends. They have also a grooming center. And all the staff are nice & friendly.

I had a great experience over at pet lovers centre! All the staff were polite and took initiative to ask me if I needed help. Furthermore, they assisted me to carry my heavy purchases down the stairs. I would definitely recommend my other friends to come here in future! :D

very disappointed with HOLLAND V branch. Our usual place is PLC Great World City but could not find a slot for April. So we end up booking for a session at HOLLAND V. Booked for 19.03.2022 at 3 PM. Got there on time. Asked to wait for 2 hours cz there are other two dogs waiting in line. Clearly it was a case of over booking. The groomer camile or camelia was rude; disinterested and looks exchausted. I asked her if she was okay? She said she was tired due to too many dogs to groom. I asked her if she keen in taking another two. She replied yes reluctantly. Her expression made us uncomfortable so we decided to walk away and wait for GREAT WORLD CITY branch to be available again. To be fair, this never happen in GREAT WORLD CITY branch. Their service is professional and friendly.

Store is good with alot new puppies, alot of new items, staffs are friendly. Just the facility here looks very old, especially the price tag. Its fadded and looks very dirty. No matter how new are the item, its super annoying with the ugly tags. Can't find the hotline number so decided to post here.

I was there a second time to see a dog that my wife and me were keen on. We were just looking at the dog and commenting on how cute the dog was when we got told off by the staff on duty (sitting at the grooming counter area) to not disturb the dog. We weren’t even making any noise, as if our gaze could kill (or in this instance, disturb the dog). Ironically, the couple next to us were shrieking away without any interception. It happened on 30th June 2022 @ 6:40ish pm. PLC, do look into the service your “puppy sale” section offers. That said, I hope this poodle will find a good fur parent.

Visited Holland v branch on 19 Mar 2022, 3pm as I had a prior booking with them to have full grooming for two of my dogs. Upon arrival, the groomer (Camilia - apologies if I spell wrongly), came out after 5-10 mins and asked for grooming instructions. However, when she came out she was looking uninterested and tired. As we show her pictures of how to cut, she made remarks such as think too big need two person to cut so must wait. Thereafter, she mentioned we have to wait two more hours and she will cage up both my dogs (toy poodle and goldendoodle) despite us having an appointment as she mention she had 2 other dogs caged and waiting. It is disappointing to hear that pet lover conduct grooming in such manner, first, having appointment like there is none. Second, to just cage them up and wait even when we shared they can't be caged and we offered to wait and she just say wait two hours. When we asked further, she just quipped that she has to groom too many dogs so she's tired. While we understand that it is not an easy job and task, but we hope pet lover can further review their way of taking appointments when obviously your groomer unable to handle anymore. It is with much regret we had to cancel immediately as we were not comfortable at all to have them cut by a groomer whom is uninterested, overly worked and tired. We hope PLC can help to relook into their process and improve in the future. We also implore other owners to be aware that their dogs will be caged up at Holland v branch in case they are unaware. - she also shared no dogs allowed on the floor so must be caged and wait. Thank you.

I had a terrible experience with Pet Lovers Grooming. When I came back to get my dog, he was stuffed into a crate that can’t even let him sit straight or stand up!! Normally he is very excited to see me, but when I came to pick him up he was quiet and stressed. I think that management should take better care of the grooming facility instead of stuffing many dogs and the groomer into 1 small room. The store staff is nice and helpful, but this experience was upsetting. Will not be returning.

We’ve recently purchased a baby terrapin from this branch and after only 5 weeks it had to be euthanised. Our children are heartbroken and the reason for our negative review is that we noticed quite a few issues appeared shortly after we bought it (shell discolouration, swollen cheeks, ect). When we brought it to the store for advice we were told that there is nothing wrong with it and it’s all normal. 2 weeks later things looked worse and we brought it To a specialist at Beecroft. Conclusion: PLC did recommend us a good setup but the turtle must have been very sick when we got her. We do not imply that the seller did anything wrong With their recommendations. Instead, our disappointment is that despite our concerns and bringing the baby turtle to the branch for advice, we were just sent back home believing she would be fine when in fact it was suffering and would not make it. For potential buyers, please speak with a veterinarian if you wish to buy a turtle as they are are just as complicated to care for than they are cute. Baby turtle are very fragile and often die in nature. Also, potential treatments for a 10$ animal can cost several $1000 as was the case for us. Look into adoption….
